I needed this update so much. Dokkan 2 slowed my game down with the ki bubble taking forever to register and normal attacks having a delay to the point where i debated getting a new phone.
@@sheggy1986he doesn't,i saw Dokkan world suffering from the same thing. Sometimes you do need a new phone but other times it's the lack of optimization. Dokkan isn't hard to run, it's just heavy as fk.
To give perspective from a coloublind about the issue with the KI Orbs post-update: -Pre-update: the Enhanced Color Clarity option enabled on the colours between TEQ and PHY orbs were made noticeably different whereas with the option disabled the colours were less different. -Post-update: the Enhanced Color Clarity option enabled on now looks almost identical to pre-update option turned OFF whereas the POST-UPDATE OPTION ENABLED OFF makes TEQ and PHY orbs look IDENTICAL colourwise. So yeah, the current design of the orbs has a direct affect on gameplay for people in my situation a lot more than something like the cut-ins.
This is good. New changes come with tweaks. Knew this was coming glad sooner than later. Glad to see they are responding to feedback from the player base ❤

Ki spheres is the most important one. Some of us are colorblind and while I love the update, I've already got screwed up a few times because of some colors mixing together
It would be nice if when opening the window of the characters' passives the new icons were next to the ability they represent, such as guard, super effective against all types, ki, damage reduction, etc... so that new people can also understand what each icon means.
I absolutely hate the new character effect cut ins that show up for everything that happens, especially the the guard and dodge one. It's like the game is just taking an extra second to say "Hey, fyi, this unit is gonna dodge the next attack" and it makes the game feel way more cumbersome

For Ki Spheres, I hope it's more that PHY Broly for example would take the 7 TEQ spheres off the rainbow instead of the 5 PHY. That's what they need to fix.
2:32 or just combine the icons into one pop up. There’s no reason to have 20 different pop ups when they can be into one. The one problem with your method is the icon that shows that you’re guarding will be turned off with every other one so really you have a pick your poison situation either sit through the long pop ups or not but won’t know if you could be potentially guarding until you get hit
I’ve been playing Dokkan for a very long time. I enjoy the Dokkan 2 update. It’s a fresh coat of paint on my favorite mobile game. Of course there are a few. Every new update and change comes with growing pains. I’m just excited that they’re quickly addressing issues and handling community feedback. A cool feature they could add, since they have all of these pop-up icons, if the Hidden Potential procs would show with a rainbow tint or something. You want to know what bothers me, the fact that the characters when not clicking the ki spheres , the characters that are flying waiting, dont go up and down as much
all those bullshit animations just make the game slower. A time mission for like an EZB like beat it in 1min 20sek you would have done last week by playing 1min 20 sek. but now its like you have to do it in 1min 5sec because 15 sec are extra animations
- The battle UI font is too small and the condition text in passives is too dark. And I'm someone that has my office computer at 0 brightness with a desaturation filter on. - Active, standby, and SA text lack the new formatting. - I agree with the ki spheres being too bright and hard to look at. From my headache-inducing observation, it seems to be due to low contrast, high saturation, and high brightness. It makes it appear as if they have bloom turned up to max. - The extra tap required to view your full rotations upon entering a battle in the upcoming patch is a usability issue, especially considering how many times many of us have to restart a fight due to godawful rotations. Sometimes, I am restarting fights for 30+ minutes in these nuking events. It already drives me insane, but the extra click would make it even worse. I hope they find a way to quickly display our full rotations prior to entering battle. It could simply be a popup at the start of a stage, or a floating widget in the corner. Whatever the solution is, it shouldn't require player input to view.

They already have a setting for animation brightness specifically for photosensitive individuals. So any adjustments they make to flashes hopefully shouldn't affect base level gameplay.

Then when I think they are going to dodge it’s actually a additional with the dodge screen coming up And we can tell when an additional normal proc because it will show the dodge screen without the symbol and a passive additional shows the symbol. The new update made the the ki spheres for me a bit harder to differentiate between the phy and teq spheres. I am colorblind and the enhanced color mode helps a lot, but the new update it is really hard to differentiate between the colors.
There is an issue that I was hoping they’d fix on the new update but it stayed the same where you wanna select a certain team in your team collection and it says it’s already selected. It’s very bothersome because then you’d have to select another team then go back to selecting the team you originally wanted to select
All the cut-ins should just be a single one. Remove the dodge one, because that’s pointless, and when Goku dodges the next time his face appears across the screen is the counter and above that is every icon that is applicable. Also the OST being slightly off is a niche complaint to me. Since majority of players have it on skip anyways.

I will say that they did a great job with this update, i havent been able to play pettan battle in 2 years bc it would crash everytime i opened the game mode. Now i can play it no problem and my tablet hasnt crashed out yet.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say that's happened to me many times. I've had this unit since his initial banner. I swore then and still swear today that Str UI is bugged and Dokkan refuses to publicly acknowledge it.

PHY LR Gogeta was having that issue for me. Everytime he would do another super attack, it cut in two or three times before he launched the attack
