So great to see you living your truth! I've been living mine for a year and five months now. I started on August 1, 2020, right after everything reopened at limited capacity. It's been a hell of a ride since then. In January of 2021, I started the process to legally change my name and gender marker. On April 20, 2021, I had my hearing in court and the commissioner granted my name change. Since then, I've legally been known as Daria. When I got my court order in the mail later that week, I was overcome with joy. No longer was I saddled with my deadname. Through May and June, I updated my Social Security card, ID, voter registration, Medicaid, and bank account. At the beginning of every month, I take selfies to track my progress. I've noticed my face looks more feminine, and I already had androgynous features starting out. There's a twinkle in my eye that was never there pre-transition. I look so beautiful and so happy, more like myself. We sure glow up during and after transition, and our eyes say it the most. They look sad and distant in the past, and become bright and full of life in the present. You and I have gone from caterpillars to beautiful butterflies.
You and your wife are a lot like me and mine. I figured myself out two years ago aged 52. I'm socially transitioned now but ready to start HRT. In fact we're scheduled to go to our doctor next month so I can start the conversation about HRT. My wife and I have a loving relationship a lot like yours and she is very supportive. It's so encouraging to see such an amazing transformation in someone closer to my age. Thanks for sharing this video
A lovely and uplifting video. Your wife is beautiful in all respects and the love that you both have for each other is truly touching. I would wish you both every happiness but it's quite obvious from seeing the two of you that you already have a level of joy in your lives that most of us could only dream about. Thank you for sharing your story with us, Amanda x
Thank you Amanda. Without Audrey, I probably would have went to the grave in that old body. We've always had an open relationship when it comes to conversation and shes the first person I've ever felt safe to talk to about how I felt. I think the fact that I didn't actually know the way I felt had a name or was legitimately real helped because it wasn't something I just told her...she actually watched me struggle with it for many years and when we watched a documentary about transgender, our world just suddenly made sense rather than a secret life coming out. As much as I wish I would/could have transitioned 20 years earlier, my life would have been much different and Audrey wouldn't be in it, so, yeah, I'm pretty blessed to have her love and support. We're best friends for each other and have always been.
Thank you Deanna. Watching so many transition videos of other women was what helped me to choose to move forward with my own. I was so afraid I might just look like a "guy" in women's clothes. I'm happy I can add my transition to the list of others here on TH-cam that might give a little hope to people wondering if they should commit to transitioning. ❤️
I watched your first video and cried for myself. Not a sad cry as such, more of a realisation that my simple life I've been hiding in for nearly 40 years has to change. Your videos give me the courage to follow my truth. Thank you.
I'm not sure who is more amazing...you or your wife. Her support for you is incredible. You look great and so happy. I'm right behind you in my transition. 48 years young and 6 months on HRT.
It’s rare to find a married couple and encouraging each other and understand each other needs. God bless and have a happily married life for the two of you
I just wanted to thank you for your vulnerability, and for sharing these videos. They have been a really nice encouragement to me over the last six months. I am 40 and would like to begin the process of transitioning very soon. I have many fears around transitioning. Just wanted to let you know that you have been a positive influence.
Thank you Joshua, When I was looking at transitioning, at the time there were no vids out there other than teens and twenty-year-olds. It was really disheartening and scary thinking about transition. I knew I wasn't alone, so as much as I just wanted to fade into the woodwork and go about it quietly, I also thought NO! Other people need to see their not alone and need to know what transitioning in your 4th decade looks like. It seems like since then, there are more channels popping up with people our age. It's wonderful to see because it means we have a voice, and we can be a help for each other. I wish you all the luck, joy, and peace in your transition. It's messy, some people will fall away from you, and for me - it's been the BEST decision ever made. I never got to choose being born in the wrong body, but I did get to choose to correct an issue from birth.
Thank you for your wonderful video. You are so lucky to have such a supporting, loving wife. She is as remarkable as your transition. I have been on HRT for many years and not seen half the results you have had in two years. God bless both of you in your journey in your new lives.
Thank you Debbie, my family physician is very onboard with me so, within 4 months, she had me at the highest oral dose of Estradiol and Spironolactone. Now at two years, she is letting me experiment with adding a 10-day cycle of Progesterone. I had such a hard time finding a Dr. who could help me transition, but once I found her, I couldn't have asked for anyone better.
first of all I want to say congratulations on your transition and also want to say how incredibly lucky you are to have the support of your wife like she does. Makes all the difference in the world, I wish the best to both of you and continued happiness
Thanks for your inspiring story n wishing you a speedy recovery n overcome whatever obstacles ahead of you. All the best to u n your beloved wife n family
Thank you so much for making this, I am 40 and just had the 'can't go back moment'. Really appreciate seeing just like an average man turn into an average woman, it looks beautiful, makes me feel like I will be ok. :)
Thank you for sharing your Wonderful Video! You both send a ton of inspiration to the Transgender Community! You have a superb and supportive wife! God Bless you both!
Hi Kelly, I'm so happy to see your new videos and your transition timeline video was wonderful!! I was saddened to hear Audrey's condition has changed but I truly believe that love can overcome anything and you and Audrey will be in my thoughts and prayers. I also wanted to give you an update since our last conversation, I have now been on HRT for 4 months and I've never felt better, this is who I really am and I can't believe how much peace I feel now and joy and I just really want to live the rest of my life without holding back anymore. On Saturday I took a huge step and found the courage to update all my social media profiles with my new name (slight change in spelling) and photo and I also updated my gender to female!! From the bottom of my heart I wanted to thank you again for sharing your story as it was after watching your videos that I found the courage to take that first step with HRT and I honestly feel like this was meant to be now. I sing and I had stopped recording TH-cam covers because I was worried what people would think but now I know I'm just being myself and I've had allot of support and love from friends and family along the way. I just uploaded a new cover on my channel if you'd like to hear my singing voice, I've been working on changing it now and one day I know my dream of singing totally in a female voice will come true!!! You look amazing after two years Kelly, I'm so excited to be on the same journey. Lots of love, Teri xxxxxx
That is so beautiful Terri. Congratulations on taking steps forward. Transitioning is so difficult because it affects and alters the entire life you created thus far...but I can honestly say, if it is right for you, that struggle, pain, and fear that comes with transitioning is nothing compared to continuing to lie to yourself and those around you being someone you're not. Audrey and I wish you all the best :) HUGS!!!!!!
@@changinggender5293 Thank you so much Kelly!!! I couldn't agree with you more, once you truly love and accept yourself then you can really share your heart with everyone around you knowing that you are just being yourself and that is how I feel now even at this early stage of my transition. There are no words to really describe the feeling of joy and peace after so many years of not being the true me!!! Love you guys!!!!! BIG HUGS!!!! :)
Thank you Carina ♥️ I'm 3 years now, fully transition now - including GRS 7 months ago. For me I've reached my personal finish line and absolutely am loving life. I wish you all the best on your journey ♥️
Omg you are sooooo lucky. I’ve recently come out to my partner but she hasn’t taken it to well. She’s vented her anger at me which I understand in a way. Your wife is amazing so please appreciate her. I wish I was in your shoes. Take care and all the best x

Hi Monica, I'm on 8 mg of Estradiol and 200 of Spironolactone. I'm not sure if your dr. checks blood levels, but my T is like .23 (typical male is around 30) and my E is around 600 (typical female is 150 - 1800 (pregnant)) I wish you well in finding the resources you need. Everyone is so different, but there is a real need for knowledgeable medical care out there. Don't give up hope!

@@changinggender5293 Thank you for reply did it take many sessions I've had 13 put still showing a lot of stubble is it a case of keep going and it will all go takes a long time more than I expected
@@robertwilson256 I've had 10 or 11 over the course of about a 15 months. Thank you Sara.
