    I just received my letter from my hearing and I WON! After 2 denials and 3 years and 4 months I finally won! I want to thank you Mr. Ginsberg for all your help from these very informative videos!

    Thanks so much! I'm a nurse who has volunteered to help two very sick people through the SSDI paperwork. I've never done this before, therefore your advice is priceless to me. You are doing a lot of good in this world by educating vulnerable people.

    Mr Ginsberg I have learned so much watching so many of all your so informative videos. I have already been denied twice and I am just waiting on court date preparing for it all watching your videos. You are by far the most informative attorney I have seen making disability videos, I wish my attorney was you, but hopefully he will be comparable.Thank you so much!!

    In my hearing I had so much anxiety, I couldn't stop crying the first 5 minutes. All I can remember is the vocational expert only named 3 hypothetical jobs. The Judge Cross Examined Her & Asked Her Would these 3 jobs allow me to miss 2-3 days a month due to my mental ILLNESSES, therapy, doctors visits etc, the Voc. Exp. Said NO. He then asked my lawyer if she had any questions and she said no, that the judge asked the question she was going to ask. I am still waiting to hear from the Judge. I have been through foster care, group homes & mental hospitals since I was 2. Bipolar Affective Disorder Rapid Cycling, Schizoaffective Disorder- Bipolar Type, Ptsd, Social Anxiety Disorder.

      LOVER OF YHVH 420 usually in situations like yours if the judge only asked a single questioning asking to V.E about work limits and that was it it is good. Same thing in mine was I got named two jobs and the judge cross examined asking could I hold a job if I worked 15% slower and the V.E said no job will allow that and that was all she asked. My disability case was won and I'm 32 but worked 15 years so my checks are more than most people. Good luck!

    I've never met a doctor who's treating you who is willing to say you're disabled and will help you get on disability. Not unless you're in a coma or on your death bed. The most recent one I asked to fill out an RFC said he works to get people off disability, not on it. And they'll fill them out for temporary issues but since my condition is permanent he doesn't want me to be on disability indefinitely because they look at it as a bad thing. I guess to them I'm just supposed to magically survive without any money

    • @ssdattorney
      @ssdattorney  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is an issue frequently. I advise my clients to approach their doctors carefully and to explain that they are seeking disability for only as long as it takes to get better and return to work.

    I just had my hearing three days ago. It felt good being honest and not trying to milk my pain. my judge was very receptive, either way it goes I feel good about it. I had an RFC but I also did a vocational assessment to see what type of jobs I could do but it came back stating my physical limitations makes rehabilitation impossible. anyway thanks for the videos, I represented myself, It wasn't my best day but I'm good for a few hours before my body shuts down. The judge smiled.

    I have applied for disability 2times and I am waiting on my hearing. I have Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Anxiety, depression and PTSD. None it that can be proven from any tests. I see my Dr on regular visits but I don't go every time I have a flare or get so depressed I can't get out of bed. I feel like getting my disability hopeless.

    • @ssdattorney
      @ssdattorney  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      FMS, chronic fatigue and the other "invisible illnesses" are a challenge at SSA these days but not impossible. If you have very strong medical support and other evidence supporting your claim for disability you can still win.

    Johnathan I have a question From my understanding the new judges are trained by the agency they act as ''BOTH'' prosecutor and judge. How can anyone truly have a fair and unbiased hearing?

    • @ssdattorney
      @ssdattorney  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      SSA is an agency so technically the judges represent the Commissioner of Social Security. They are supposed to act as fact finders and not be adversarial. Most understand this but, unfortunately, a few do not.

    I received an unfavorable decision from alj. Stating that all 4 physicians that treat me and filled out rfc forms stating that my functional capacity is sedentary. ALJ stated that all 4 doctors were unpersuasive. Yet the 2 doctors from ssa that never saw me were persuasive. My 4 doctors are spine surgeon, family doctor, pain management doctor and a psychologist. Can you advise if I should appeal at the counsel level? Please advise I am 53 yrs old with non-transferable skills. Thank you.

    I spoke with you a few months back. I have been listening to radio shows about people on ss that are not qualified, but receiving ss. My brother is receiving ss. He had hip surgery and is limited to 10 lbs of lifting, but he is not totally disabled.

    • @DragonBallZone
      @DragonBallZone 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Danielle Garrison s.s is welfare, ssdi is not it is looked at how much you have worked and paid in to disability. Your brother isn't mentally disabled just physical which is why he would be on welfare.

    You mentioned grid rules for those aged 59 to 62. Do these people require the medical records you refer to? This is in reference to being too old to be retrained after a lifetime of one particular job or face age discrimination due to cost of older employee for insurance benefits.

    I will be having my second hearing with the same judge, the appeals council sent it back. What will the judge be looking at this time? Everything or the reason it was sent back? I feel like I don't have a chance with this judge, his approval percentage is low and now he'll be aggravated his decision was sent back from the appeals council.

    Excellent video and very informative. I have a question I hope you will answer. Does the grid rule argument have to be asked to be used by an attorney or will the ALJ automatically consider using it when a claimant is in his upper 50's? The reason I ask is my friend is a perfect candidate for that rule but his lawyer never brought it up. Also thank you for the free survival kit.

  • @juicytacos2139
    @juicytacos2139 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you think I won my case. I had my hearing on the 22nd of June. And it’s now being reviewed by the judge. I’m trying to win my case because I have severe anxiety and depression all my life I’m 19years old and I have tons and tons of doctors visits and notes from them saying I’m very sensitive to antidepressants so I’m constantly switching medicines. I call off work most days and since my hearing I haven’t worked since because my anxiety is getting worse. I’ve also had an IEP my whole life and I save selective mutism.
    And when she asked if there was any jobs available for someone like me the one lady told her yes to 3 of the questions but the very last one she said no.
    The guy who represented my case called me the other day and said my chances of winning my case right now is 50/50. Is that a good sign or should I just assume I didn’t win my case.
