Hi Evan - I left a comment on one of your videos about setting up a hoop house. I was trying to find you on LinkedIn to ask you the question, but couldn't find you. We're in the same zone and I have various citrus trees I want to protect in this hoop house. I'm wondering if something like that will work for them if I have a heater. I also have 50+ bonsai starter trees I'd like to protect...just wondering if it's worth the hassle to set it up.
A heater will work well if it’s reliable. A propane heater will need to vent the fumes somewhere, though. Electric heaters work best for small installations. Re. the bonsai trees, I don’t know anything about them but they will need to be protected from low temperatures. I’m not on LinkedIn but I’m on Facebook. @@greekbecky1 a greenhouse is not anywhere near my future. We have a nice backyard, but too small for an addicted gardener.
