Bbmp basically never answered any of the questions. When asked what is the ecological impact to trees and lake he basically said "ecology is important. So we must take strike a balance because ecology is important" we already know that. we want to know how and what they are going to do. The presentation by IISc was great. Very good point. However, it would have been a nice opportunity to suggest alternative solutions as well. Such as walkability, safe biking lanes, better public transport.

Congress neverever interested in development and growth of our nation.
They have FAILED in INFRASTRUCTURE for 60 years. Utter failures.
They are 100 percent SUCCESSFUL in LOOTING BUSINESSES.
      Congress follows Paapu AI.
World No 1. most innovative AI network.
      Paapu did the generation of
      "Paapu Gen AI " .
      Only Devils can understand this
      Amazing Paapu AI World.
      FYI, Congress n
UPA n I.N.D.I Alliance completely RUINED many of Indian INDUSTRIES and ruined its Ethos.
And some of them, we have listed out artifacts of ruined INDUSTRIES.
Congress completely ruined It's export n Its TRADE businesses n trade infrastructure which was not at all developed or REFORMED.
      1. Ruined complete tourism of all kinds. examples are Tourists locations , Kuchipudi, Bharathanatya, etc and Spiritual Life, and Yoga, Meditation, Dharmashala, Ayurveda, Vastu, Vedic education, etc,.
      2. Ruined the complete transportation Air Water n Road transportation and tram transportation and other transportation Samples are Air India was ruined after getting from Tata, and other transportation companies.
      3. RUINED the "INDIAN AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY
      and
      4. Textiles industries for 4 decades, even export of textiles..
      5. RUINED the Farming industries n Farmers life . Farmers Sucide was most during Congress tenure.
      6. Similarly, many others small scale industries were ruined by UPA parties.
They continued "British Raj " even after INDEPENDENCE thru hidden agenda n hidden British Raj thru " License Raj" for more than 4 decades.
      One example is
"British Motor Engine" was used within Ambassador cars manufactured by Hindustan motors.
Entire Automobile industry was manipulated by 80+ licenses for the industries.
These license were completely bogus n Unethical businesses 😒.
This was monopoly n Dictatorship n Traitors businesses to promote British Motor products with Secret dealing.
NEHRU's Congress neverever thought about nation and Nation first Policy.
      Instead focused on Britain's Royal-Dynasty-Builder's Politics n
      British First Policy.
Next Congress first Dynasty politics and lowest priority with motto as India - last priority was off course Indians.
      Neheru motto was
" Britain Royal families as First.
His own Family Dynasty as second.
      Congress Party as third.
And TRUE INDIANS as last priority"
      Regarding investment as follows:
Why, There was no Investments on Integrated framework of infrastructure of Transportation like Airport, ROADS n WATER Transport Integrated framework of Infrastructures.
Congress n UPA didn't invest anything for ROAD n WATER Transport Integrated Infrastructure since 50+ years of their governance. They are totally nonsense 🙄.
UPA Parties sense of Analysis n sense of evaluation n sense of reasoning are worst of worst.
UPA does not understand that data is not wisdom.
But UPA parties are not understanding the values of Knowledge n Wisdom.
      🕉 Namah Shivaya. ......
      Om 🕉 namah Shivaya .
European Education System created, manifested and did all kinds of indoctrination of Educational Values.
These educational institutions n universities are 100% Fake & False Educational values.
UK institutions and universities like University of British, university of Birmingham, university of London, Queen Mary University of London, Oxford, Cambridge University n University of Leicester, University of Manchester + Imperial college at London, University of leeds , Durham University, University of Bristol, University of East London, University of Aberdeen, university of Bath, university of Bolton, university of Buckingham, university of Edinburgh, university of Greenwich, university of Huli, Kingston University, university of Wales, university of West London, university of York, university of Worcester and many others universities and BBC NEWS + UK media like BBC n its Allies
UK 🇬🇧 University's n other universities and modern educational institutions do not know the meaning of COMPLETENESS n its Values and Ethos of it.
Still talks all his own narrative n his own views, not the truth.
      Why so.?
      SUMMARY:
      -------------------
Since the last millennium , These Western people have understood Wrong knowledge, Wrong Views, Wrong understanding of life.
Wrong understanding of Bharatiya’s values 😕
Similarly the Westerns say that Hanuman as Monkey God which is not. Total misunderstood every concepts of Bharatiya’s values by the West.
Max-Muller did misunderstood everything about our Ethos , Valuable values etc.
Indoctrination and hegemony of Western Nations over the whole world are the Biggest Blunders in the history of mankind since the birth of earth 🌎.
Erode Venkatappa Ramasamy/ PERIYAR used to believe these conspiracies of these people.
So PERIYAR is dumb follower who doesn't have sense of reasoning and sense of evaluation.
Doesn't have Sense of understanding but he is egotistical person who gets aggressive without understanding the reality and truth.
PERIYAR was least interested in truth and reality.
It's British in the past, and now the leader of United Nations + CONGRESS n Communists made our Nation INDIA not to grow....
      First, know the facts.

I believe the IISc person did provide solution. Reduce car usage, Increase public transportation, Make laws that support public transportation No amount of roads can help reduce traffic congestion
      1. Integration between different modes of public transportation (e.g., buses, trains, ferries) to provide seamless and efficient connectivity
      2. Introduce laws that incentivize the use of public transportation through measures such as congestion pricing, parking restrictions, or tax benefits for commuters who use transit

It's sad that a citizen's group has asked an expert on Transportation Systems Engineering, like Dr Verma, for his opinion and guidance, while BBMP has just continued with project plans without any such consultation.

No amount of road is gonna help solve Bengaluru traffic. We need efficient public transportation, especially metro, that stretches through all important main roads and feeder network for the rest of the roads.

    • @RoamMeYo
      @RoamMeYo 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

boss, for that also there will be trees gone, pillars erected & limited stops, expensive, does not allow poor people onboard, and cannot go through tight turns. Stop dreaming about metros. People need to adopt shared mobility, and start in time (just like he said that people get late on the roads & then start complaining).

    • @noclicheplease
      @noclicheplease 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@RoamMeYo One, instead of dictating terms on when people should start, instill discipline on how the public should be driving. Two, trees will be fell no matter what. So make it count. Three, there is no better shared mobility than Metro. Do the math on how many number of people would be travelling on such small bandwidth. Lastly, penalise private ownership of cars. Like the surge toll in NewYork city.

At least you people have citizens' direct involvement from all walks of life in the improvement activity taken by the city council like BBMP but here in Kolkata our participation for such debate is quite kept aside or hardly happened in this scale... I had never seen this kind of stuff mentioned in any leading dailies here in Kolkata.... this is really appreciable that citizen forum is at least aware of the activities happening and can voice out opinions without having any fear.....

The traffic near bashyam circle can be effectively managed if time based signal if implemented. Traffic police stops one side and keeps on green for a long time for another side. So traffic keeps on piling and this creates a ripple effect on all sides

Widening roads , increasing road capacity will only encourage more vehicles to use it so again traffic( this has failed in many countries, many research papers showing it fails ) yet Iam sure bbmp will build it and 2 yrs later same problem , solutions would be to discourage car use , encouraging public transport, reducing cars would significantly reduce.

    BBMP sees only 3 options
    All three options build flyover
    Wtf …
    Who does this benefit :
    1.person who builds the flyover.
2.person involved in decision making. Pretty sure they are making big bucks .
I mean the iisc expert gave solutions which cost nothing, yet bbmp is like “ all that is good point but we will build the flyover “…

I did my schooling in the Govt School in the 18th cross Malleshwaram, that tank bund road is an old design for the 1990's era & choking stretch for the 2020's traffic density. The should go ahead with the flyover with good planning that avoids least damage to the tank bund, trees, heritage buildings, etc. The flyover should extend till maramma circle beyond Aranya bhavan as that stretch is also an ancient one, otherwise all the traffic piling will happen right after they drive down the flyvoer at point 2 as explained. The bottle neck is between circle maramma till bashyam circle which is the narrow stretch of road that was designed for the bygone era. There will be a lot of axing of multiple trees, but replantation also should be done accordingly.
The professor sitting inside his campus has little knowledge about why there is so much traffic on Bangalore's roads. Stop hallucinating thinking that people will become very socially & ecologicaly consicious and switch to public transport, etc. Wake up professor.
Also switch AI based cameras for traffic signal automation, Chinese are doing it for nearly a decade from now. How I know? I'm into these CCTV camera's since 2001, even when CCTV was unheard my 99.999% of the population.
Many people need mobility, especially to those who have jobs that makes them move around the city, not just from point A to point B like he thinks. Also it is the people's choice to live, work & move at their will and wish, no need dictatorship ruling in democracy. BTW there is no bus service on that stretch since 1990s.
