Before watching any of the games, this Vraska looks like a better Shelob
Seems like it! Instead of playing a bunch of fight/bite spells and spiders and not doing much without you super expensive commander, you can just play efficient removal and play your commander way earlier.
Culling Ritual seems like it'd put in work in this deck, since it pays for all the things you could steal.

That Tameshi Player is what I hate about current MTGA ... wish they'd get punished more - toxic deck, and then whines (ropes) when it doesnt went like theyd like it to :D
I agree with the statement about hating when players rope because they’re losing. Childish of course. However in this instance I believe he thought the game maybe glitched and wouldn’t let him counter because he forgot Cavern of Souls makes a creature of choice unable to be countered. Just a thought. I don’t think in this case that he was roping because of being salty but just not reading her cards fully. Common mistake.
I slammed her in the 99 of Savra, Queen of the Golgari. I feel so much better when I super plus off edicting the hell out of my opponents.

The salt rope is silly. You got to have a sense of humor, it's supposed to be fun, sometimes you just get stomped by Amy in the brawl queue. I personally love the salt rope, it lets me know I broke their spirit 😈 but I know I am in the minority there 😄

Nice video! Ill have to try this one out. Really wanted to make Shelob work but Vraska being lower to the ground makes this a standout choice.
She seems really cool but also like one of those commanders we'll all forget about in a couple months - maybe slightly too fair or a standi n for any sort of golgari good stuff deck. In any case, great video, as always!

A shame to hear people font play the first sliver for the cascade. I love cascade effects like imoti and the first sliver looked cool for a swarm go wide deck

I've come to terms with Green being the actual most oppressive color in brawl. In commander with more people it's less of an issue Imo. But the kind of ramp that only green gets access to in brawl is Imo too much.
The consistency of turn 1 ramp is an actual issue
@@Amazonian that's exactly it. Just puts you on the back foot instantly. It's a shame too because I love green for stomps and such. But I feel like the format pushes into into oops.all.ramp style decks. And with the kinds of card draw green has access to (even without a second color) that doesn't seem to have a draw back anymore.

Poq, Henge, Tireless Provisioner, and Guardian Project do go wild. Verdant Rejuvenation in late game is ridiculous.
I have a Chevill deck and think I'm going to swap new Vraska as the commander. Golgari is my favourite colour combo but it seems to skirt hell queue regardless of commander so I rarely play it online now.
I know it's a bit of a stretch from the comment about the Midas touch but considering the Transformers appreciation going on here (same) I was almost expecting the opening lyrics of The Touch from the 1986 Transformers movie. (You got the touch! You got the power!)

2 Suggestions for Brawl Decks. Marchesa Crimes/ Spellslinger? Reanimator? Or Just Value. Seems alot like Kaervek but Grixis.
And Rakdos, the Muscle. 6/5 tramping. Plus the sac trigger. Rakdos sacrifice seems much spicier now.

I know you don't like tutors, but the skeleton case just so frequently ends up being an unblockable 2/1 that gets to attack 4 times. Also tutoring pest infestation that one time would feel great.
I don’t know if you’ll ever have the time with so many new commanders, but I crafted the new (at least to me) Olivia, Opulent Outlaw card and would love to see what you could do with it, if anything.

100% on the Tameshi roper haha, you don't get to play oops all counters and be salty because a 1 of 100 card with 2 assassins in the deck was drawn.
