Abandoned Level Crossing, Aramara, Queensland, Australia

THIS LEVEL CROSSING HAS BEEN REMOVED AS OF 2023-2024. THERE IS BASCIALLY NOTHING LEFT OF THIS CROSSING APART FROM THE GRADE CROSSING ITSELF.
This is an Abandoned Railway Crossing on the Maryborough-Biggenden Road in Aramara, Queensland Australia. The Mungar Junction to Monti Railway line was closed in 2012 due to the 2010 floods that damaged the railway line and lack of service. The last train to go on the line was in 2008.
Crossing information:
Unmarked bases (similar to GEC ones)
Harmon LED lights mounted on Henkes and Harmon cross-arms.
Crossing Number is 4780.
Relay box is gone most likely due to vandalism.

At Reserve St level crossing in Donnybrook, The last train came through in 1993, and Westrail closes in 2000.

Very well done! The location of the crossing is quite surreal, but cool at the same time! BTW I also liked how you tried to make out what the crossing what look like if still in use today, great job!

Thanks! and also, some of the abandoned signals get vandalised or they get removed. There is another crossing 27km away towards Biggenden which is vandalised, lights are ripped out, and has a missing signal, it’s in Lakeside, Queensland if you want to check it out

Nice video dude! Theres alot of abandoned level crossings out in WA and NSW, Back in 2018, When i was in Kalgoorlie, I saw a abandoned crossing at Goldfields Highway.
