It feels so amazing to watch these two incredible actors speak about their craft. Shamim Hilaly Ma'am is so graceful and elegant. And I've always admired Ahmed Sir for his writing. This interview took me back to Coke Kahaani days when Shamim Ma'am and Ahmed Sir played an adorable couple. Ahmed Sir has always showcased exceptional writing skills, right from Azhar ki ayegi baraat to Very Filmy and Contractors. He never creates run-of-the-mill stories. Looking forward to more amazing projects.

The great thing about Rabia is she interviews her guests Esp the senior artists with so much interest and respect that it shows on camera. As for Mohammad Ahmed Sahab pls tell him he has a fan following and smart viewers can figure out who knows their craft. Yes he is right about looks bec when i saw Sheheera (lead in Razia) as a side character in Burns road drama i was like oh no she has such great acting skills why is she in a supporting character. Maybe the casting crew needs counseling :)

First of all i appreciate the work done by Ahmed sahab and shamim ji bht he achhi acting kari hai dono ne plus contractors was a good script kuch hatke even thou mujhe Zara Sara ki extra ordinary intelligence kuch khaas achhi nahi lagi but theek hai short drama tha toh koi nahi it was a great effort and aani chhye aysi scripts.

Khaqan ko toh bemtlb mi itna troll kra hai without the actual context in reels or shorts which is so sad because he was so right and he was admitting the facts that being conventionally good looking and all do give privileged now a days skills toh ek secondary thing hogyi hai ajkal, I'm watching lot of actor and actresses jo sirf looks ki wjh si cast kiye jarhy h lead roles mi tbh and those who actually have that absolute great skills of acting but unn logo ko lead roles he ni milrhy because they are average looking toh industry biased toh hogyi hai kaafi ziyada it's facts plus i believe ismi audience ka bhi bht haath hai agar aap good scripts and good actors ko jab appreciate krna start krngy toh unhe milega kaam which they deserve bht saari ayse amazing story waly and impactful dramas aye hai and arhy hai but unko wo views he ni aty jo actually wo script deserve krti hai kyun ji?? Kyunki unmi apparently "khoobsurat cast" ya koi famous actor/actress nahi hoty. It's just sad reality

Agreed, both actors. Mahira Khan is a classic example of fame for looks and style versus skills. Our people are so superficial, going for fair skin and style, which is a sad reality of typical cultural norms.

43:59 I am from Gen X and was never in to watching Pakistani dramas as we were introduced to Friends, X-Filez and Beverly Hills 90102 and after raising my kids when I have enough time to watch dramas in USA I could not watch dramas like Baby Baji or Burns Road types….We, as expats miss our roots and true culture of Pakistan with a modern touch in it. Pakistani audience are themselves exposed to so much shit on Netflix and thankfully got over a whole era of Indian influenced dramas!!! I loved watching Zindagi Gulzar hai, Humsafar, Yaqeen ka Safar and recently Kuch Ankahi…. And dramas do influence people in bad and good ways. I can relate to some of the dialogues of Jaan e Jahaan coz it is preaching humanity despite showing the worst of people….
