She is one of my greatest heroes. What an honor that we get to hear her words of wisdom and stories of the past.

I’m one proud man to have been raised with parents that were involved in this movement in Oakland, California. This fine articulate woman is as relevant now on so many levels than she ever was. If you get the opportunity to view the exhibition at the Oakland Museum, dont pass it up…. She makes me proud to spell my name HUMAN…

OMG! Just saw this video at Oaklands Museum of California! The entire exhibit is informative, and let’s you get a better/in-depth sense of how events played out. I was in elementary school at the time of her erroneously being charged with three capitol crimes! I had no idea, of the global support she garnered. The video is thorough, in that it shows her being completely her intellectual, compassionate, progressive self. She’s truly an inspiration for others who are trying to change the world’s systems, and making every space, a better place for each, and every one of us! ✊🏾

Looking to our past as a way to celebrate our victories... Truly inspiring. And "Art teaches us to be free." Couldn't agree more!

The way she lays out the fact that art IS NOT an aside to the struggle/movements, but is in fact, a very necessary part! Too many times in life/life’s systems, those who thrive with only the utterance of words, fail to understand the power/necessity of art, in every form, in its ability to reach, and sustain masses!
