This drama doesn't make sense at all! Both ML & FL hiding their identity in the palace while being saluted by ministers and their subordinates. I guess this hidden identity genre doesn't need to make sense anymore. One template fits all, even if it's nonsensical 😂
Let just be honest why is all Chinese mini movie all full of violent n abuse but I till love 😘 dis drama he got what he deserves😂 pretend to be someone else this is crazy😂
Ok I keep on jumping the scenes and not even an hour through the drama I already get why many viewers feel annoyed 😂 Some ‘hiding/mistaken identity’ and the non-stop trash-talking, mocking and belittling scenes unnecessarily keep on dragging the story and in the end if we take them all away there’s just a very little progress to the actual plot
They villianify illegitimate children a lot in these shows and it does have an impact of sorts. I mean, it's not the child's fault to be born to terrible parents through terrible circumstances. Hell, sometimes the mothers don't even knlw the men are married. I've seen a woman go crazy when she found out that her husband had a second family and she was the mistress. The kids should be angry at the parents not the half siblings. And they should show more of this other than the scheming half siblings all the time.

This is yet another version of the “I was Abandoned After my Husband became Top Scholar”-story. As usual we get a bunch of arrogant people going bla bla bla, leading to either a hurting index finger or bleeding ears. I admit that I found this one more interesting than usual since the identities and characters are more complex. So despite the excessive blabbering, this is actually a nice watch with a strong and not easily bullied FL. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is the legitimate daughter of the Prime Minister and engaged to the Crown Prince. She once saved the Emperor, so she was given the title of Princess. In order to follow her heart, she left the mansion to help the man she loved become a top scholar. Sadly, when he succeeds, he abandons her for a woman (2FL) who claims to be… the Prime Minister’s daughter. Thinking she will be able to help his career, he cruelly abandons the woman who has been working tirelessly for him and his mother. So, FL decides to go back to fulfill her previous engagement. But before leaving the rural town, she gives a silver note to a beggar (ML) she encountered a while back and spent some time with. Thinking she is a beggar, he gives her his jade-pendant to use if she should ever need his help. Little does she know that he is in fact the Crown Prince (ML). And he too decides to go back to the Palace but refuses to marry the Princess he is supposed to, since he already has FL in his heart. Soon, FL is entangled with her ex-fiancé (2ML), her new illegitimate sister (2FL) and ML while both FL and ML try their best to hide their true identities. Well, this has a happy ending.
So i skipped to the ending thinking i would like it boi was i wrong, ending was wack 🙄, i wanted them to have harsh punishment. Were they even sentenced?
I watch this drama bcos of ML 詹琸. However the script is so terrible, with so much misunderstandings & false identities, irritating bitching etc, that it is difficult to watch in full. Hope scriptwriters give 詹琸 better scripts next time. Also hope he does not botox lower part of his face; he's actually a very talented actor with beautiful unique & expressive eyes, but that freezes the lower part of his face...

時裝劇演這種 隱瞞身份的就算了， 因為時裝的總裁和什麼某某大小姐，再怎麼厲害都只是在那個城，或者是那個區， 可是古裝的太子欸， 太子可不是什麼總裁，極權統治制度下的皇上之子，怎麼可能任由一個平民在哪邊吠，就算是小說天馬行空，也還是扯了點
