WOW I did not know you could hammer metal Clay absolutely great work thanks for this amazing video 😎
Thank you for your feedback! 🥰
thank for sharing such a detailed video of the process!
Thank you for your feedback! We are glad that you enjoy our video. 😊
Loved how you put texture on the band! A stone setting burr would help you set the stone.
Thank you very much for your feedback! 😊
Hi there! Was the mixture in the syringe just water and clay? Thank you for making such an amazing video
Thank you for your feedback! We do not create them on our own. We buy the syringes already filled with clay. We assume that the manufacturer use a different binder and a bit more water than normal silverclay. Greetings 😊
Great video! If you don't mind sharing, what surface did you fire your clay on? I've seen a video of someone using it to make granulation, but I couldn’t get an answer from them!
Thank you for your feedback! We use a ceramic fiber mat. 😊
Hi! Is the magnetic tumbler a necessary part of the process? Or can you skip that part
It is not necessary but a very convenient way to polish your jewellery. 😊
How long did you torch the clay for?
About 4 minutes 😊
What type of wax do you use to create molds?
Which type of mold do you mean exactly? Or in which video?
Gorgeous ❣️ When you make the ring, does it shrink? Do you make it a little bigger then? Im an artist and I want to make weddingrings for my man and me❤😊
Thank you! 😊Yes metal clay shrinks a bit. Depending on what brand you use it shrinks more or less. We recommend using Art Clay Silver as it has only a shrinkage of about 9%. We wish you the best! 🎊
@@metalclay-silberladen-at Thank you ❣️I will try that ❤️👍
Wunderbar 👍
Vielen Dank! 😊
Wonder-bar? Sounds delicious
cool
what are you using to keep the clay wet? is it water?
Yes, you can use water to rehydrate your clay. There is also PMC Aqua, which makes the clay even smoother and more flexible. This is advantageous for more complex jewelry pieces. For simple rehydration, (ideally distilled) water is sufficient. 😊
hello, how many gram do you use to make this ring?
Hello, it took us about 12-15 grams :)
@@metalclay-silberladen-at Thank you!
Sehr interessant
Danke für dein Feedback! 😊
Thank you for such a good video..
Thank you! We appreciate your feedback! ❤️
Hi where did you bought the ring mandrel with the sizes
Hi there! You can purchase the ring mandrel from our online store, Silberladen.at. You can find a variety of ring mandrels and other jewelry tools on our website. Feel free to browse our selection and let us know if you have any other questions or if there's anything else we can help you with!
Does the clay stick to the post it note at all?
The Post-it is there so that you can more easily remove the dried ring from the mandrel. Metal clay shrinks very little during drying. You can tear the Post-it and remove the ring more easily. In general, the metal clay must be placed tightly on the mandrel; if it's too loose, you need to tighten it again. Greetings 😊
What to do when the ring gets old n gets pink?
If by the pink discoloration you mean that the silver ring has oxidized, there are several options. You can simply polish the discolored area again with a sanding sponge/sanding tool, or you can re-fire the jewelry piece, provided there are no heat-sensitive parts like stones or pearls, etc. We hope this helps. Best regards. ☺
Excellent 👍🏻🤩💙
Thank You! 😊
We are working with Prometheus Silverclay in this video. This metal clay is pre-mixed and can be used immediately. Alternatively, we also recommend Art Clay Silver and PMC.
Thank you ☺️❤️
Thank you for enjoying our video! 😊
Do you deliver to the United States?
Unfortunately not at the moment 🥲
Where did you buy that clay?
We do sell it in our onlineshop Silberladen.at Europe-wide.
Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome😊
Was muss ich anmischen?
