The Funeral of Reverend Peter W. Gyves, SJ, MD

Father Peter was a member of the Society of Jesus, was a pediatric endocrinologist, and was the founder and director of A Faith That Does Justice, an interfaith organization that raises consciousness about social issues affecting the most vulnerable among us. Father Peter entered the Society of Jesus in 2003 and was ordained a priest in 2008. One of our regular presiders at Mass, Father Peter was truly part of the fabric of Saint Cecilia. He loved the people of our parish, and, in turn, was loved by all of us.
We pray that Father Peter's soul be welcomed into the eternal and loving presence of God. May he rest from his labors, for his good deeds go with him.
