  • overview of diy hydraulic engine hoist we made to mount into a hitch receiver, if you know how to weld give this video a watch, this should be an easy build

    This looks like one of those "works great until it doesn't" type things .. definitely need to brace it up some.. great idea and clearly it did what it needed to though!! 👍👍

    Folding screw jack is what's needed for that stability

    Awesome, i like it. I was just thinking about doing this, did a search, and yours was the first video :)
    Quick note (probably stating the obvious), until one is able to put feet on this, i would think jack stands would work well to brace it.

    I did kinda the same idea but on the other side I welded 2 trailer jacks with heavy duty all terrain wheel to help support the weight but still be able to roll link below

    Dang man this is the flip floppin best idea on here son, it will work, that table was a lot more heavier than an engine. I will only be using it for engines

    Neat concept but seems like youd want a swivel yo be able to lift things into the same truck

      Jack stands should help with that. Could put 2 under the back of the hoist frame and one directly under the receiver.

    Cool idea but defo needs to be solid 2" bar not tubing.
