This is why we need more 2nd gen comebacks because 2nd gen Kpop was so different compared to now. They have what it takes to bring something refreshing to the current Kpop scene of today.
Btob is 3rd, but yeah, i think is the only group that sounds and seems a lot like 2nd

Their vocals are absolute top tier. I just love them. They're insanely talented and funny as heck. There are lots of movie references in this - Wolf of Wall Street, Casino Royale, The Great Gatsby, Warm Bodies and Sin City.

The genre definitely plays with our association of this rhythm and big band instruments and the chic/spy/noir cinema protagonists that dress and talk all smoothly. I see people described it as “showtune mafia music” and “the soundtrack of a 1940s back alley dealing” lol

BTOB genre is 'BTOB'.
Their versatility in music made them be one of those artists who comfortably walk out of their skins and do different things, and yet successfully made it theirs. The title track OUTSIDER is something that they had never done before but it 'sounds' BTOB.
They may not be big internationally, but they made noise in Korea. Fan or no fan, even idols have great respect and adoration to these 'beagle idols'.
You know you guys like the song when all three are boppin heads together. Perhaps the MV genre you were thinking of is Noir? I don’t know, I’m guessing here myself.
