@Mr17051963 She played the role for a month long production in Ogunquit, Maine this past summer. She was just "okay." There are clips on youtube and an audio bootleg of the second act floating around.
Haha... I'll post some kissing scenes from this show, they're hilarious! Uwe looks absolutely REPULSED by the idea of making out with Christina and actually flat out disses her during "There's Been a Call." This is odd, he seems to have had a lot more chemistry/affection with Daniel Ziegler... But, then again, Daniela Ziegler is a very HANDSOME woman. Meh... Uwe Kroeger was perfect as the androgynous Death in "Elisabeth," but as Joe, he just feels miscast.
I'll post more clip of her soon! If only she had more chemistry with Uwe! But, then again, she IS a WOMAN!
I don't think she's copying Helen at all. Her Norma is much more confidant and much less tragic than Helen's. Well done I say!
I should have a video of Daniela in a little while...
Was she Mother Superior? How did she end up in Germany in the mid-nineties for this show?!
Just wait until you see her in the last scene! I'll try posting it tomorrow.
Thanks.

I heard she's now a celebrated theatrical producer in her native Italy... She recently staged a musical version "Dorian Gray."
...Or maybe it was just a bitchy diva thing... "MEEE?!?!? La Kroeger acting with an ALTERNATE?!?!"
voce profonda e accattivante
Christina sang it very well..but her acting was wishy-washy.
Do you know something about Stephanie 'Powers' performance of the role?
