They still tour, albeit with only one original member. I'm going to see them this March because it's the only chance I'll ever have to glimpse even a fraction of this great band in action.

They really put on a great show. You'll have fun! I cover "To Proud to Beg." My own upcoming single "Integration Education" to be release early next year is a tribute to the soul groups of the '60s. Most of my songs are more acoustic, though.
Don't know where you live, but I grew up across the border from Detroit . These songs were the soundtrack of our lives as well. I can remember music playing everywhere during the summer - pouring out of the shops, cars, and homes, people dancing in the streets, what a time it was we were so lucky. Thanks Detroit, for giving the world some of the best music that ever was!!!!!

Otis Williams you are glue that held the genius fabric assembling together the greatest show the world has ever experienced. When the Temps needed a voice to speak to the human heart you stepped to the microphone and laid the rap down. I hope these words have been a blessing.
I agree that the Temptations and The Four Tops were very classy. Oh, what great entertainers!!!. I lived through this era. No one can match the music of the 50' s and 60' s.
May the Temptations always be remembered and held up as the number one group of entertainers of the world. We who have lived during this period in time who were privleged to or blessed to witness their greatness either in person or through their recordings must acknowledge that all especially the original members were some of the greatest song stylests in every vocal range that they would use. Growing up in Detroit back then was music paradise. Every single week another group was throwing out hit after hit, and it became expected and adored. Every generation gets theirs, music constantly evolves, but I honestly believe this love was the very best.
I was in high school in Detroit (dePorres is in the house) when Dennis Edwards joined the Temps. None of us were excited about this and we didn't think anyone could replace David Ruffin. Little did we know. Dennis brought the church with him and we all fell in love with his singing. Love this. Thanks for posting.

Old Man River shows off their awesome accapella harmonies. Most of the tunes in this concert take me right back to 1970-71. I was a an east coast guy hitting the west coast for the first time, thanks to uncle sam. lol Temptations on the radio, cold coors in hand, and cruising pacific coast highway 1. I envy you greatly sir! As a 21 year old, I can get incredibly sad knowing that Otis is the only original Temp still standing and that I will probably never see the current Temps performing live. Especially during these harsh times. I must've watched this concert about 20 times now, and it never gets boring.

I was into the Beatles, The Jackson Five, Beach Boys. I was drawn to their soulful sound, studied Arts throughout college, as my minor, while earning my medical degree to serve some of these amazing gentlemen. Thank y'all for making my life complete! I had the privilege of attending one of the 25th Anniversary concerts back in the early 1980's, which featured all of the members of the Temptations over the years, including David Ruffin and Eddie Kendrick. A truly magical experience.

That whole era of motown had so much talent it is amazing. Berry Gordy was a genius business,talent scout. And Smokey such a great writer. I was not even born at that time and I don't believe there will ever be such talent as motown in the 60s.
I played in the band for six years, I. Know when you miss a beat. I was in modern dance for three years. I know when you miss a step I was blessed too March in the Macy's parade, still televised today I thank my parents and teachers, mentor's Much respect taught me too know the best
There was no week link! Every voice, every move, every emotion personified by the whole. It was just human feelings. No mention of race. It was that we are all alike. We all experience the same feelings. They brought everyone together. Boy, could we use them today!

They all had to go home after entertaining so many. I can honestly say I came during the times as a teenager and Dennis came aboard in 1968 I believe with Psychadelic Shack.. They didn’t miss a beat and just think Otis is 80 years old and still putting it down and performing.. He’s held up the battleship all these years.. This concert just throws me back in my seat especially ‘love on my mind.’ That lady in the white dress was really enjoying the music.. Now just think most of the ones we knew are gone.. Grew-up 45 minutes from MOTOWN. In 60s-70s.many epic groups. Smokey, Diane and Supremes other greats including TEMPTATIONS. Thanks to all for great music, fun, and spirit. This was a postive influence for this white boy.

Thank God for this great group, I watched them in Liverpool in the early 70s ,I'm still a total fan and listen to my vinyl, Otis graciously signed my album for me, thank you LEGENDS
The Temptations were the hardest working group from a time when it was almost impossible to succeed. But shear determination and love for the entertainment business. Gave them careers that will last a lifetime. Otis Williams had a vision and a will to produce the best music and chorography that will last into many years. The Temptations were in my home town a few years ago and I had the pleasure of meeting Terry Weeks. They are not only super entertainers but real gentleman too. I enjoyed the show and came on that stage and exploded into first class entertainment. I'm so glad they made it and it proved what hard work will produce. Thanks guys your the best.

Sure, the original Temps are matchless, and nobody could argue that, but these three, minus Paul, Eddie and David, are holding their own. They still can bring it!

Temptation were one of my mentors, I know every song they recorded and Lou Rawls recommended that I audition for them when David Ruffin left. One of the Best Vocal Groups Of All Time In My Time.
Wow!!!!! What an incredible experience!!!! I was 16 when they skyrocketed to stardom. I remember every song 🎵 and every lyric. Pop music today cannot compare.
There have been over 26 of the Temptatjons at last count. They keep that sound alive. I saw them in around 1973 or 74 and had back stage pass to meet each one. Got autographs and remember them as very friendly and large warm hands. Ha. This is a great sounding group with fantastic moves. Even Lloyd G William's who sang and recorded the songs in Animal House ( Shamma Lamma Ding Dong. And Shout etc) it was his voice singing not fictitious Otis Knight who lip synced and Loyds great voice dubbed in. And yes, Lloyd G William's got cheated out of record royalties and credits. Bad deal!! Another trivia...Paul Williams and Eddie Kenfrick went to grade school together in Alabama. Got into a Tiff and Paul dumped a bucket of mop water over Eddie's head. They became friends but moved to other states. Kendri KS notified Paul Willia.s that Otis had 2 openings in music group so they joined tovether.......🎶⭐🎶

That whole era of motown had so much talent it is amazing. Berry Gordy was a genius business,talent scout. And Smokey such a great writer. I was not even born at that time and I don't believe there will ever be such talent as motown in the 60s.

There was no week link! Every voice, every move, every emotion personified by the whole. It was just human feelings. No mention of race. It was that we are all alike. We all experience the same feelings. They brought everyone together. Boy, could we use them today!

They all had to go home after entertaining so many. I can honestly say I came during the times as a teenager and Dennis came aboard in 1968 I believe with Psychadelic Shack.. They didn’t miss a beat and just think Otis is 80 years old and still putting it down and performing.. He’s held up the battleship all these years.. This concert just throws me back in my seat especially ‘love on my mind.’ That lady in the white dress was really enjoying the music.. Now just think most of the ones we knew are gone.. I'd rather listen to Dennis with laryngitis on the crappiest PA ever than most of the so-called 'talent' today,how standards have fallen but I have to say that the Temps and their ilk set the bar incredibly high !!

Grew-up 45 minutes from MOTOWN. In 60s-70s.many epic groups. Smokey, Diane and Supremes other greats including TEMPTATIONS. Thanks to all for great music, fun, and spirit. This was a postive influence for this white boy.
The temptations have always been my number 1 group since I ways young and now I'm 71; temptations to the end
"Ain't nobody coming to see you OTIS" ... Funny line from the movie... But people Will keep coming to seeing Otis because he is the last surviving member of a fantastic vocal group!

Thank God for this great group, I watched them in Liverpool in the early 70s ,I'm still a total fan and listen to my vinyl, Otis graciously signed my album for me, thank you LEGENDS

The Temptations were the hardest working group from a time when it was almost impossible to succeed. But shear determination and love for the entertainment business. Gave them careers that will last a lifetime. Otis Williams had a vision and a will to produce the best music and chorography that will last into many years. The Temptations were in my home town a few years ago and I had the pleasure of meeting Terry Weeks. They are not only super entertainers but real gentleman too. I enjoyed the show and came on that stage and exploded into first class entertainment. I'm so glad they made it and it proved what hard work will produce. Thanks guys your the best.

Beautiful but strong but handsome but intelligent gents and "TEMPTATIONS" ... Uncle is enamoured of thy sound and thine execution of songs, musicality and showman-ship !!! One Uncle in the world is, at the very least, enthralled !!! Thy voices, choreography and general sentiment wilt always draw Uncle back unto thee, way past 2019. Uncle remembers thee always !!!

Temptation were one of my mentors, I know every song they recorded and Lou Rawls recommended that I audition for them when David Ruffin left. One of the Best Vocal Groups Of All Time In My Time.
Wow!!!!! What an incredible experience!!!! I was 16 when they skyrocketed to stardom. I remember every song 🎵 and every lyric. Pop music today cannot compare.

Otis is the only one alive! (No Drugging)
There have been over 26 of the Temptatjons at last count. They keep that sound alive. I saw them in around 1973 or 74 and had back stage pass to meet each one. Got autographs and remember them as very friendly and large warm hands. Ha. This is a great sounding group with fantastic moves.
Even Lloyd G William's who sang and recorded the songs in Animal House ( Shamma Lamma Ding Dong. And Shout etc) it was his voice singing not fictitious Otis Knight who lip synced and Loyds great voice dubbed in. And yes, Lloyd G William's got cheated out of record royalties and credits. Bad deal!!
Another trivia...Paul Williams and Eddie Kenfrick went to grade school together in Alabama. Got into a Tiff and Paul dumped a bucket of mop water over Eddie's head. They became friends but moved to other states. Kendri KS notified Paul Willia.s that Otis had 2 openings in music group so they joined tovether.......🎶⭐🎶
