Wonderful vlog and it really shows what a great airline Singapore Airlines is. In regards to the aircraft type, you flew on the same Airbus A350 aircraft from JNB to BKK. However, the first leg from JNB to SIN was operated by their Long haul A350 Business Class. This aircraft is used on flights longer than 8 hours. The aircraft from SIN-BKK is configured in their regional business class cabin. Used on short haul flights. Same aircraft, different Business Class product.

We will be flying Singapore’s Business Class in September. Did you find sitting close to the lavatories and galley bothersome? (Noise, traffic etc)
Indeed a wonderful experience 🤩
Sitting next to the lavatories wasn’t an issue at all for us. The business class seats 💺keep you nested and the infotainment system shuts you out from exterior noises and distractions.
I love the Singapore Airlines staff energy 🇿🇦❤️🇵🇱.
