Trucking Brilliant | UK Truck Stop Voted Best In Europe

- A truck stop in the UK has been voted as the best in Europe.
Red Lion Truck Stop, Located near Kislingbury, Northampton, won the title with 40% of truckers selecting it as their favorite in a poll.
Ali Sadrudin, the operator of the site near junction 16 of the M1 called it a significant achievement.
The stop offers over 200 parking spaces for heavy goods vehicles, along with truck washing facilities, a wide dining menu and enhanced security.
TalkTV correspondent Nick Ellerby visits the location and speaks with the site operator Ali Sadrudin.

You get some incredible grub at truck stops, and its usually brilliantly priced.

You should try going in there after 7pm and asking the same questions. Ask to see the Fire risk assessment when you see 150 trucks wall to wall in there. One burns, we all burn. Maybe ask why it still costs you 8 pounds for the curry even with the 10 pound voucher applied. If you don't have SNAP parking then easy 50 quid for parking and a meal. I've been ill the next day from the food in there. Absolute rip off. And as for driver shortages hahahahahaaa trust me it's not down to there being not more places like the Red Lion hahaha try minimum wage, long hours, crime and fuel theft, massive toll charges, London charges companies wanted 2 or more years experience before letting newly pass drivers a chance.
We kept the country running during the pandemic "lest we forget" and now we get slapped in the face with minimum wage 😢 Thanks for nothing.
