    I bought a secondhand Film camera at a car boot sale and there's an undeveloped 35mm film still in it, I wonder what images are on it?

      Please, be careful when you're talking "specifically" to Americans because they're other English speaking countries in the world other than the US. I couldn't finish the video because as an audience member, you I fell left out when you focused on Americans.

      Thanks Jim :-) now that I have the film out I was able to have a good look inside its wrecked with mold and paint flaking inside viewfinder section :-) so the outside is perfect inside its gunk :-) ♥ See you next week man

    I'll be waiting to see what was on the film. My first camera was a Zenit 11, looked identical to yours, same case, and its the same film I used to use. Back in the days I used film I used Boots to develop and in those days you got a free Boots film but if you asked for a better one they would have given you a 12 exposure roll of Fuji. I always wondered what happened to that camera as I can't even remember what I done with it. Last time I used it would have been around 1994 as I got a Nikon for my birthday in September 94. I doubt it's my old camera but you never know. 🤣 I could well have given it away. It was absolutely bomb proof. Its the sort of camera that used to be taken on Arctic and Antarctic treks as they were completely manual.

    Good to see you have a Zenit Sean. Thats the one I had in my video as my first camera. I think mine was a much earlier version, dont know what happened to it.

    That lens alone can sell for up to x10 as much as you paid for the camera. Great little bargin find. Might be worth seeing if you can adapt it. In the US we have 'flea markets' which are very similar.

      @Rambleswithmycameraonyoutube  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think I may just do that for a bit of craic (fun) and over here we use that term flea market too :-) I love them....the markets not fleas :-) ♥ Sean

    Another way of saying "Car Boot Sale" is "Swap Meet" or "Buy/Sell/Trade."

    Were 35mm 12 exp. roles common in the UK? I'm not sure I ever saw one in the USA.

      They were available in most chemist shops here but mainly as a give away or bargain bin type of purchase. Here in Belfast there was very few actual labs so all of the chemist shops offered a service that they would send the film away and you picked it up in 4-5 days and you got a free film with your order :-) ♥ Sean

    Bargain find there Sean. The Helios lens is quite desirable, there is a ready market for them on e-bay. They make a good portrait lens as they have nice swirling bokeh. You can buy an adaptor for next to nothing for either you Nikon or Canon. Better than just leaving it on the shelf.

    The Helios lens is worth £45-50 on its own so I would say a you’ve got a bargain!!.
