I hate that certain crash sounds were either removed or toned down. I guess they did that because of not only the updates, but the lighter tone towards the games update development. And I’m not talking about the creepy sounds that play during the crash scenes, I’m talking about the crash sound effects in and of themselves. The creepy sounds were removed because they were a part of the scrapped Aftertouch/Impact Time feature that they were planning during the pre-alpha stages. I’m shocked that they kept them in after the release despite the said scrapped feature.
@@MatthewDiLeva There was a time when my last wish before death would've been to play the e3 build of the game. Please tell me why you know so much about it.
semy28nfs I KNOW! I wanted to play the E3 build too. Matter of fact, they have pre-alpha builds publicly available to anyone. I know all about it because I study on its history most of the time, even when playing with friends. I always watch the builds and find the sheer amount of differences from the past and the changes in the future.
@@MatthewDiLeva I didn't know there was a video where you can hear the Impact time sounds to the end wowow!! I just found the video, I thought I'd never hear them to the end. I'm glad that I did some research again-
It sucks that they disabled or removed it, but I guess I can understand why, When you have the soundtrack playing they're hard to hear, plus crashes just don't last as long. For the more brutal crash/takedown sound effects I have no idea why they would.
1:01 ain't no way that's a metal pipe sfx playing haha

So many years and I still learn something new about the game.
semy28nfs I know everything about this game and it’s pre-alpha builds. So you got the right guy lol.

As if the game wasn’t downgraded enough they decide to make it even shittier and watered down with the remaster.
Even though I like the "impact time" sound, I just don't think they fit in the updated versions without the gritty and bloody death filters.

Wait the original game is kinda like the burnout 3 pre alpha and beta and demo version
I kinda like it without the dramatic ambience. You can really here the crunch of the car, the cars honking, or smashing the light pole.
Why did EA even remaster Criterion Games’s masterpiece anyway?
