XUV 300 is the best in this segment. I had the test drive for both cars Nexon and XUV 300 at the same day with 10 minutes gap. Nexon has blaind spot in the right A pillar, it has big cabin noice, and a lot of body roll. Even clutch is also harder than XUV 300. But in XUV 300 is far better in all the above. No cabin noice, very less almost no body roll, very easy light clutch. Very fun to drive. More safer then Nexon because of all wheal disc brake and 6 air bags. The 17" allay wheel give you more stable and confident drive. Besides XUV is heavier than Nexon. XUV300 is the best in this segment. Go for XUV 300. It has fun to drive strong punchy diesel engine. After a test drive with Nexon,Kia Seltos I purchased XUV 300W8(O) last week.

interior of Nexon is premium but xuv 300 especially Diesel engine has no comparison at all... it rocks.. also fuel efficiency is best in sgement because of idle start stop ...so xuv300 is any time economical over tata nexon in city drive.... remaiing other cars in this segment i dont consider it for comparison #swadesi

Recently I drove the venue with bhp,rpm: 118.41 bhp @6000 rpm 172nm ,torque @1500-4000 rpm ....where as mahindra xuv 300 with 110bhp @5k rpm ,torque : 200 nm @2k -3500 rpm.I have got a thar which has 150 bhp @5k rpm . 4 cylinder ....maruti alto's engine cc is not even 800 but still it climbs easily in the hills ....so basically the engine cc ,bhp ,torque ,cylinder everything decides the over all performance of the car....every car has some pros and cons in some cars with 4 cylinder there is no turbo engine similarly in some cars there is turbo engine but with 3 cylinder this is done to compensate what ever that is been missing in terms of power and mileage coz cars with 3cylinder tend to utilize less fuel compared to cars with 4cylinder . I liked the venue's suspension, easy to manouevere and found it to be quite premium with a lot of latest features ...some buyers go for the overall package not just whether it's suitable to go for drag race or not 🤣😂...
laden /unladen is not mentioned ..its marketing gimmick of tata ...both car are best..but engine of xuv300 is top notch in the complete segment. Especially diesel
