- Nigeria hosts some of the largest and most powerful ministries in the world today. This did not happen by chance. It is the product of definite seeds that were sown in the country at a specific period of time in our nation’s history.
Indeed, the Bible speaks about a time to plant and a time to reap that which is planted. There was a planting season when a belief system founded upon the knowledge of certain truths within the Scriptures was established. It was a time when the weightier matters of the law were clearly taught.
Then came the time to reap; a time when people started harvesting great results from the lives of those that embraced and understood the truths while they were being sown.
Round about the early 70′s a wind of the Spirit began to blow over the land. Young men and women started to express a new belief system which they had called getting-born-again. It was known as the SU movement, fashioned after the name of the principal organization behind it - the Scripture Union. The conscience of young people had come alive and a heightened emphasis on godliness and character was established. Consequently, the hope that this new birth experience would become the moral force of the Nation was born, and the moral compass of what would later grow and develop had been set.
By the late 70′s into the early 80′s another move was initiated, it seemed headquartered in Tulsa Oklahoma under the leadership of Kenneth Hagin. It first started to sweep through campuses in institutions of higher learning such as the University of Benin, Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Lagos, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, University of Ibadan, Ahmadu Bello University, Ambrose Alli University and many others. All of which started receiving the content of this movement through the printed page.
Books like, How to be led by the Spirit of God, The Two Kinds of Righteousness, The Art of Intercession, The Faith That Moves Mountains, The Blood Covenant, How to Turn Your Faith Loose and The Authority of the Believer became must-reads. The saying; “the just shall live by his own faith” became the anthem of the day. The individual’s access to his God, as well as his ability to hear from Him directly and receive revelation knowledge from the Scriptures, was established.
Simply put, the charismatic pentecostal movement had been born!
Leaders from this Movement who had acquired skills of the practice of the knowledge of the truths began to establish what is known today as mega-churches in major cities across the globe. The foundation was laid on a deep interaction with the Holy Spirit by long hours of prayer and meditation on the Word of God. We believe that the planting season is back in Nigeria and the seeds that will produce a finer harvest and a form of the Faith for years to come must be sown.

Sometimes when we spend time in the place of prayer, God begins something in us, certain tbings he begins to show us, we must know that Knowledge is in parts even that of God himself, he gives us in parts, so dont be in a hurry to announce it cos it yet may not be complete.
I have been on the subject of the Holy nature ot God and its power, the expectation of God for man to be holy as is the standard for Christianity, establishing the foundation of our faith not just in the proclamation but in the conscious working of it on the foundation of holiness, then we begin to explore the tangibility of the grace which is available to us in Christ Jesus.
I honestly was stuck on the subject of prayers, deliverance and authority with its visible manifestations.
This message may have just reconciled deliverance, miracles and Christ foundation for me.
I pray for more revelations even as we press to know God more.

We cannot make light the deliverance ministry, we just cannot.
There's need to accurately establish a balance between these dimensions of travail.
And I bless God for he is obviously raising men for that purpose.
@@andyambrose Absolutely...I can relate. Once in a while when I am invited to preach...this normally puzzles my mind and am like something is missing...there is a balance between needed. This revelation is yet to waaoo this world and generation. It's on purpose that this is happening now. God is raising men to guide us better.

Powerful message...I love apostle Grace. Not to contradict apostle Grace version, but what I believe about the Grace and faith movement Vs the deliverance guys, there is a way they are interconnected, in some cases Jesus rebuked mummy water and in some instances it was just a simple word he spoke, your faith has made you well. Either you fall in the Grace movement or the deliverance side it's an error to ignore one.
...there is a connection, however many times preachers n teachers leave the truth which is in the uncorrupted word, will of God, lack of wisdom and deeper understanding and revelation n preach according to their lack knowledge, understanding n false revelation. the fivefold ministry has a mandate to preacher the truth with wisdom, at some point if you are a preacher...u will realize that there is a slight gap n is caused by lack of wisdom and higher revelation of the word. Each word in the bible is true but it takes higher grace, understanding and revelation to understand that there some scriptures which are more true in comparison. It's at this point that even the false preachers use the same bible falsefully n take people astray. Infact Jesus is deliverance. God is raising a new generation.
