    Nothing better in Drum Corps history than a Jim Ott horn line. Also nothing more tragic than losing someone so suddenly when he was just hitting his prime. Thanks for all you did and RIP!!!

      There used to be a rule back in the day requiring any instrument used by the corps to be able to be carried by a member on and off the field and hence the lack of front ensembles

    G bugles make for better show design. That is why every core is scoring on average 3,000 points lower than in the 80's. Drum corps is 100% about design brah, and e'rbody knows that G bugles automatically raises the design score by 7,000 because loud means good... MEANS... good... and that added MEAN adds more MEANING which is 100% of the score, you feel me?
