😂😂 If someone was introducing you to Bloodywood, I'd have figured they would have started with a softer song like Aaj (Today), Yaad (In Memory), or Jee Veerey (Brave One) - not the hardest song in their repertoire!
You were spot on with everything! And I totally agree with your favorite lyric in this track. There are, sadly, so many victims who never come forward out of fear. They are the nameless faces that need someone to stand up for them!
An excellent reaction, with astute observations and commentary, thank you. At the risk of repeating others, Bloodywood is always positive and uplifting, and not afraid to broach tough subjects. Dana Dan is their hardest song, others that really blend Indian musical traditions and metal are Aaj (about personal growth), Yaad (dealing with grief), Endurant (bullying) and Jee Vereey (mental health). All of these are musically incredible, thoughtful, emotive and positive. A truly wonderful band.
Haven't seen the reaction yet, but the title has me intrigued...this has to be one of the heaviest songs out there right now, sound and message. It will melt peoples faces the first time they hear it...
Bloodywood are a great band. Was lucky enough to see them live in Boston back in Sept. Their energy is incredible. The contrasting vocals are killer. Such a powerful song to talk about a very deep subject. I would love you to add to your list a band I don't believe you've reacted to, Lovebites. They are an all female heavy metal band. The song I'd love you to react to is Edge of the World. th-cam.com/video/UZjxMjBop7w/w-d-xo.html This is one of Asami's (the vocalist) best songs that highlight her vocals. Asami does not scream. In fact her voice some people say sounds operatic. Also, these ladies play at elite level with two lead guitars that can shred and a phenomenal drummer.
Thanks so much Mr. Jonathan, i was able to do Lovebites reaction, i really love them, unfortunately, i had to put it down first as i got a copyright strike from Baby metal after 3 months for a reaction i did before, i did not dispute it anymore but im not so sure if Love Bites would do the same with their videos too as the take down came from Live View Japan🥲but i hope i can react to them again, as i really love them too💕
I really love you. it's so cool watching you analyze a song in real time and I think it's so interesting to get to hear your first thoughts on a piece. I do have to admit, like I'm Indian American and I do have a relation to this song. I think it's ok, I'm older now, but it does feel better when I hear this stuff from other people I don't know, who don't know me. It feels more honest, and it doesn't feel like anyone's lying to me. Anyway this is no big deal, but it's nice to get this feeling. Love it, great reaction!!
Bloodywood is the real deal! Not only do they talk the talk, but they walk the walk. Both Jee Veerey and Yaad have messages at the end for services that they have been able to do...both are great songs and I think you would love them. Jee Veerey and Aaj are feel good songs....Yaad, have tissues ready, you will be crying during it (and that's a good thing too 👍)
My favourite lyrics in this song are still "Not all men? Yes all men! We need all men for what we're solving!" When it comes to matters of consent and sexual assault, anyone who isn't actively taking a stand against it is providing a shield for those who perpetrate. So long as our cultures are ones where such things are condoned by default (ignoring or shaming of victims, for example), we can not afford to be neutral about these things.
Thought for the Day: "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is for good men to do nothing." ~ Edmund Burke, 1775 "I hold those who do evil, and those who do nothing to stop evil, equally in contempt." ~ Me
You should check out the group Heilung. They’re a folk group that make their own instruments and stage clothes by hand. They use a lot of throat singing in their music (not all). Their songs Anoana, Norupo, and Alfadhirhaiti (live) are all really good. They also covered the oldest song in the world, the Hymn of Nikkal, for their most recent album.
*Finally, so long I sent you this, you reacted to it.* (If you react to video....don't research on details about he band, lyrics, etc, till after the reaction & add it to the tail end of your reaction. The element of surprise reaction is defeated if you do)
You should check folk metal from other places because it's an insanely varied genre I mean folk metal from Ireland and japan are gonna sound WAY different SO! foryou anyone who wants more folk metal from around the world Alien weaponry- New zealand (Maori/te reo metal) Wagakki band- Japanese (more folk rock than metal but still a banger band) The Hu- Mongolia Hassak- Kazakhstan (more of an ethno group but they wouldn't be out of place at any metal concert with songs Like "Amanat") Arka'n Asafokor- Togo Al Namrood- Saudi arabia (I know there are some badns from Egyp as well but IDK their names) Cemican -Mexico (look up on YT as "cemican band mexico" because it usually auto corrects it as "chemical" ) Bloodywood- India Manntra- Croatia Percival-Poland Arkona-Russia MiracleOfSound (look up songs like Sirona, Tale of Cu Chullain or Grann Mahoil)
Oh sweet, Summer child. Never lose your innocence, but lean into your sincerity in your reactions. I'm less interested in "what someone told you" about technical aspects than how you viscerally feel about what you are seeing and hearing. When Bloodywood calls for a beatdown, I want to wreck someone with them at my back. Dana dan!
You picked a heavy subject to react to. But a great band which a lot of the time pick good subjects to talk about. Means they are good guys, you can see it in interviews as well. 🙂 3:38 surprisingly and many are not aware of this: but the trend over 100s of years is: less wars and less violence in general (sexual assault we don't have good numbers on for those long time periods, but they go together). And that is with many more people on this earth, so while the sad reality is we've not gotten rid of it, but their is a reason to happy as well or at least realize it's not hopeless. But still lots of work to be done. I guess your old Babymetal reaction got blocked, sadly. I remember you from that. If you need any tips on how to deal with that for more Babymetal reactions let me know. Bloodywood should not get blocked as far as I know, as you said they grew because of the Internet, they would rather use it to spread their music. They seem to have been able to keep a lot of what is needed to do close to them so they get to decide what happens. Unlike people stuck with old media bosses at distribution companies.
Hello, thank you very much for sharing your wonderful message, yes sadly my old baby metal reactuoj got blocked and i was given a copyright strike so i got scared as i did not dispute it anymore. I really love them too. Yes, this one is okay, they let me react to it🙏for Babymetal, i was really a little confuse because it was another company who claimed for the video first, i believe it waa Amuse, so normally for my part if they claim it, i normally do not dispute anymore and let it be as i really want to share so many amazing performances from different genre. And most of my reaction videos was never blocked but the owner i guess can monetize it but they never take it down. The Babymetal after 3 months i believe, there was no warning or a request for me to take down which i would follow but Live View Japan took it down which gave me a strike, hopefully it will expire by December🙏i actually message them if they can at least remove my strike as i am just very new but they never replied back🙏but i am still confuse between Amuse who claimed the video then Live View Japan who asked it to be taken down 😭😭😭thanks so much for watching this as well🌸🌸🌸take care💕
@@AaliyahCapili ohh, my, a strike ? Yeah, I can imagine how that would scare you ! "Live View Japan" ? Honestly, I've never heard of them. While Babymetal has worked with a company which does 'live viewings' in Japan (which is: live streaming to a movie theater where people buy ticket to watch it in high quality. So more people can see a show or don't have to travel from far away in an other part of Japan). I think the one you reacted to was Road of Resistance live in Japan. Which was a regular concert and I don't think Babymetal ever done any live streaming like that before at that point. Honestly, I'm afraid they might be a bit of a 'copyright troll' ? Sadly TH-cam and copyright are a bit of a mess. TH-cam because of the way the laws are made takes sides with the companies instead of the creators on TH-cam. Best to be careful for now and wait for the strike to expire. Good luck with growing your channel ! And hopefully someday you can come back to doing Babymetal. If you do I suggest to stick with earlier shows like Legend 1997 a show in 2013 and "Budokan Black Night" a show in 2014. They have turned out to be safer on average. I think Babymetal uses them to be a bit more 'promotional material' and sells those DVD/Bly-rays cheaper.
@@autohmae oh thanks so much for sharing this tips, i am a but surprise too as the copyright owner was Amuse who did not blocked it but will monetize it i guess but thats okay by me, but the one who asked to take it down was Live View Japan.
