I always thought Anna made this whole thing up about Robert making a pass at her. If she indeed did have a drink with Alcazar, which of course we didn’t see it’s probably because she is on assignment
It’s kind of funny that Patrick and Robin work in the hospital but they haven’t run into each other. Robin’s now at the metro court with Robert, not running the Patrick where he lives..
Liz is his conscience talking---if he hadn't of been paired with KMc, JT would have been long gone or never would have been on GH because there would have been no need for the character of Patrick Drake---this all hinged on KMc staying more than 6 months
Davida Shensky Patrick can hold his own. They would’ve found another story line, he’s a good actor. but definitely his ability to start off with Kimberly, Tristan, Finola accelerate his ability and also taking acting classes
@@rosanneperkins9516 He wouldn't have given him any better s/l because they didn't know what to do with him---they only saw him as 1/2 of a couple and there was no one to pair him with that equaled what KMc brought to the table. Her fan base came from when she started on the show in 1985 since she virtually grew up on the show. She won her first Emmy at 11 and when they gave her the HIV story she won many hearts. There's certain actors that they can never replace---like the Scorpio/Davane family and by extension Patrick and Emma, then J&KW Frisco and Frlicia
Davida Shensky See I think the way everyone loves Jason and Sam together, that without Jason Sam can’t be with a good storyline but she’s proven that to be wrong. Patrick didn’t have Robin for almost 2 years, and then 2012 when they thought she was dead his storyline revolved around his grief and trying to function for his daughter and I thought he did a phenomenal job. I thought his acting was spot on his portrayal of a grieving husband and father was amazing.
@@rosanneperkins9516 I'm talking about in the beginning when KMc came back in 2005---she originally only had a 6 month contract because she was focusing in on directing. JT was very inexperienced at the time. He would not have given the same performance in 2005 or 2006 as the grieving husband that he gave in 2012. They were testing him with different actresses until KMc signed a long term contract and he was given the AIDS scare s/l that their relationship changed onscreen. Look what happened to Ingo Rudemacker when he was paired with Carley and he's been on the show for years---Carly always goes back to Sonny. Patrick and Liz are good as friends but I can't see a pairing there and as you saw Sam was always meant to be with Jason, so who would they have paired him with---how many different pairings has Michael Carinthos had and none of them have lasted long term
Davida Shensky I think a lot of the chemistry that you get to see that works is when the actors are actually friends outside the show and they actually have each other‘s back‘s. I think that’s why Robin and Patrick worked because Kimberly and Jason were and still are really good friends. You see it at all their fan events, and all their interviews and even Jason said an interview he spent every day almost for six years with Kimberly. You’re lucky as an actor if you find a scene partner that you have a strong chemistry with, that you actually feel that connection because then you can convey that to the viewers and fans. I think even though Jason was pretty much green when he arrived to the soap opera world and daytime tv, he got paired with a veteran and that’s why it was lightning in a bottle. No, i’m not sure any pairing would have given him that possibility. But I also think that he has become a very good actor due to his time on GH and with scenes with the veterans that he got to work with. I just would love to know what the writers and producers promised him to keep him there when Kimberly left again in 2014. .
