Well tbh its not like it plays any significant role either way. BL was primarily about Boy's Love ( women writing about boys falling in love with each other) and didnt really focus on the labels whether they were gay/bi/pan/omni/heteroflexible etc. Tin being referred to as 'bisexual' was merely background info. Had it not even been mentioned it would have had the same impact which is negligible. Since never once do we see Tin shown to have any interest in the opposite sex.
The series is beyond fantastic but I don't really have another word for it. The writers and actors are absolutely brilliant and the production crew is top-notch
