USAV Bluetooth transmitter Adapter Bose Wave CD Player to Bluetooth Headphone/Speaker

If you want to play CDs Music from your Bose CD Player to your Bose wireless Headphone
Pairing
1. Turn on the Bluetooth Adapter. The Bluetooth status indicator will blink rapidly in blue.
2. Connect one end of the included 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5mm audio jack (Red) on the Bluetooth Adapter. The receive status indicator lights will be bright red.
3. Connect the other end of the cable (RCA connectors) to the AUX output jack of your Bose Unit.
4. Activate Bluetooth Pairing Mode on your Bluetooth speaker/headphone. Refer to the user manual for your specific model for exact instructions. The Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker/headphone should blink to indicate pairing mode.
5. Once connected, the Bluetooth status indicator light on the adapter will flash slowly in blue.
6. Play CD music on your Bose CD Player and enjoy music audio from your Bluetooth speaker or headphone.
Note: This product is compatible with Bose products and may not be compatible with other brands.

I followed these instructions, however my USAV adapter will not transmit. I get solid red light for receive every time

What brand of headphones do you have? Can you pair them with your headphones? Once connected, the Bluetooth status indicator light on the adapter will flash slowly in blue.
