"In this session of the VIII BRICS Conference, we will debate the evolving relations between the physical and the virtual, delving into the issues brought by the digitalization of our everydayness and the political, economic and social effects attached to it. Composed by distinct governing frameworks, BRICS+ countries pose a challenge for global cooperation in digital affairs, with distinguishing internet governance models. Our experts will discuss major aspects of internet governance such as cybersecurity, digital divide, AI, IoT, 6G, and the challenges for the foreseeable future of BRICS+ Information and Communication Technologies. What are the posing challenges ushered by the Internet for the future of labor, security, environmental changes?
