@Mapperton Live: Julie , you are a “living advertisement” for Yoga 🧘🏼♀️ and eating for health & wellness! I have never seen anyone as truly energetic and energizing ❤️!! Everything you are restoring there and, in Italy 🇮🇹 plus, just fitting in everyday life! I’m much older than you at 64 but, I know I would be aching in muscles and parts that I never realized existed if I had to do half of what you’ve done. Yoga obviously keeps you so limber and, your healthy diet keeps your weight from fluctuating up and down! If you weren’t so busy doing absolutely everything on two TH-cam channels, I would love to see one of those “Everyday I Eat In A Day” videos all the American celebrities and models have been doing on TH-cam. It’s frivolous but, I would love to know what someone healthy like you eats and does in a day! This was wonderful as always! “Hugs” from an American in the southern part of the USA 🇺🇸 ❤
Julie, I think it is so admirable that you do all this work. I can see me doing this but not a countess! I love the fact that you pitch in and 'Get it Done!". The good old American Can Do attitude!
Julie all I can say that you are absolutely brilliant - your effervescent personality and dedication to helping restore the Manor and its surroundings, is so admirable and inspiring. Luke is a very lucky man.
It all looks very nice. One hundred years from now, I predict another heir will insist the bookcases be stripped & re-stained. You know, we all have our own preferences & it’s good to see new life breathed into old spaces.
Yet again so much hard work but how rewarding is the nearly finished project, it’s looking unbelievable. Your colour choices are dreamy, they blend so well, look traditional but fresh, I love your choices. You have hit so many problems with this room but have conquered them and have created a masterpiece of a room. Well done again.
Gosh, I'm exhausted just trying to renovate my 4 brm, two bath home, which is only 20 years old! You have immense energy, Julie, & you're a rare gem to be doing so much to preserve this wonderful house. I'm running fast just to catch up with all your posts 😜
Your father-in-law must be very pleased with all the work the team has put into the muniment room in time to celebrate his birthday. That was a lot of pressure. And that the scanning progresses quickly enough for you to complete the dissertation.
Wow, what a beautiful transformation of that room! I’m so excited to see it completed and all put back together😊 Your hard work is definitely paying off! Blessings 🙏
Could you cut the bookshelf to accommodate the window leaving shelves below the window and above and some shelf space to the right of the window thus making the window basically inside the shelving unit? This could be a unique feature that showcases the window but still gives you needed shelf space. I’m so impressed with you and your passion for this important project!
It looks beautiful you did a really good job with this room I was a little sad to see the bookcases get ruined with paint. Stan never peels like paint stain doesn’t get dirty like paint Stan is pretty much a superior product to paint.
I would of not put books on the painted book shelfs right a way as the books might pull off paint in a week as you did not let the paint cure long enough.
Great job painting Julie, it is such hard work. I have worn a shower cap to paint the ceiling otherwise the roller throws the paint all over your hair. Paint colours look amazing, can't wait to see it finished.
Beyond excited as I’ve just booked a visit to Mapperton for May and I can also visit my ancestral home of Beaminster. Perhaps I’ll see a few ancestors in the church graveyard. We have an old estate agent brochure for Mapperton when it was being sold in 1919. My family were farmers in the area and it looked like they were possibly going to buy one of the farms when the estate was being sold.
So sorry I am behind on your last couple of Alberta lives! I will catch up. I love everything you and Luke and All do for every thing yall own. You make my heart happy every time I see you have posted.❤️😁❤️
Oh Julie! It looks spectacular! The colors are so rich and beautiful. The burnt oak looked great on video compared to the others. Congratulations on making it all come together. Can’t wait to see the finished result.
Well Done Julie and Crew! The archive room looks amazing. One would never know about all the challenges you faced before even starting the painting. I wonder if there is such a thing as Preventive Maintenance being practiced at Mapperton. I ask because I used to work at an hotel in the Caribbean. Obviously the place was no where near the age, size, and or similarity to your place. Having the hotel very near the sea was rather challenging. We constantly were replacing corroded metal hardware, pipes, etc. Humidity was another challenge, dry rot,as was painting the exterior of the villas. To start with, the program seemed like a no go. But once the employees and management accepted that this was part of a new Strategic Plan to save the hotel. Before long each week as Management and Maintenace did a 'walk about'...it was pin-pointed that certain things/items needed to be placed on the list, the priorities, etc. etc. Please forgive my presumption that you might want this suggestion. 🙏✨
Woo hoo! Progress. So exciting. The planning is fun, the execution is work and time, and the completion is satisfying. Or it should be. Go get a Hot Fudge Sundae. 🙂 I wondered what was going to happen with the old window. I see. Excellent.
Lmao Work it Barry! I love you so much Julie! 😄 Those colours are gorgeous!! 😍 I call the wall colour sage. It has become my new fav colour and is my accent for my kitchen. I totally get the touch-up stage. I did saturated colours on my living room walls and ended up needing 4-5 coats! 😳 Beautiful, Julie. Just brilliant. How many generations will revel in the space you have breathed life into? Well done. ❤
I am stunned by all the work you did. The room looks so good, and I can’t wait for the full reveal with furniture and everything! Huge congratulations!!!!
The juxtaposition off the red for the inside portion of the bookcases with the green exterior color is classic. I did the same thing with my house a few years ago. The room is coming together.
Yikes! I can't wait to see it finished! Thank you for not doing the "re$tore the room to her former glory" thing. That approach is great, in many cases but, what Fun it is to make a space your own! Not a copy of original old decor but, something Unique!😉 ...at the end, I couldn''t help but realize how badly the Eagles need to be returned, in place. They really do make a huge difference. How are they coming along?🤗
Well, I believe his parents still own Mapperton and that Julie and him moved in to take care of the place. I don't doubt that they are well off but, the money it takes to maintain such an Estate, let alone the taxes, must still be a challenge. I'm just wondering HOW you would even know their finances....? It's one thing to plan and budget for certain projects but, when the unexpected repairs pop up, like the storm damage to those eagles, that kind of expense is still quite a dent.
Love the colors, I used the darker green & red colors in my office for shelves and accent colors. It was a rental so I could not paint the walls. Also, I am glad you saved the quaint window! Unless I'm confused, it was found behind the cornered bookshelves? I have binge watched at least 50+ videos so far. lol
The colours are brilliant. The red, that I may need to use somewhere in my home. Love your zeal. The shower cap was fun. Painted my hair two weeks ago. May need to get one. Thank you for sharing. Barry is amazing.
Wow …increadible job…love your rennovaton videos as well as the general progess on all your projects 😊😊😊 rewilding and the 20000 visitor project especially😊😊
It will be amazing when it is truly finished . I can't believe the change from new year when Alberta letters were been read . You have done so much work . Looking forward to continuing this journey with you . Many thanks for including me it as been really good.

No one works harder than you, Julie! This aristocratic family hit the jackpot when Luke made you his bride!
You did a MONUMENTAL amount of work you little energizer bunny. Brava Julie.
Julie all I can say that you are absolutely brilliant - your effervescent personality and dedication to helping restore the Manor and its surroundings, is so admirable and inspiring. Luke is a very lucky man.
I am so inspired…I just bought paint for my back door.
So glad the window was left uncovered
My gosh your painting and decorating this room, the guest cottage and your Italian home! You go girl!!
It's wonderful, Julie, the colours are spot on. It looks like a killer job, but it's worth it 😊❤
Julie...... All I can say is you're amazing!!!!!😱😍🤓
It all looks very nice. One hundred years from now, I predict another heir will insist the bookcases be stripped & re-stained. You know, we all have our own preferences & it’s good to see new life breathed into old spaces.

Proud of you, Miss Julie! Roll up your sleeves, get some paint and dirt on ya, and own it, girl!

The paint is so creamy. I absolutely love what Julie and Barry are doing. They are quite a team.
How do you balance it all? You’re amazing Julie!❤
Julie it looks superb! ❤❤❤
I honestly liked the room brightly colored as well. It woke the room up.
You all work so hard. So much to be proud of. I really want those EAGLES back up. ❤
Me too! Every time I see the pillars that they belong on, I think of how beautiful they are and how much I miss them!
@@sharronandrews7675 Thanks..your reply was most needed ❤️

I just saw where the new old window is still there!!!! Yay!!!!!! It makes it all look so much better!!! ;)
What a lot of work. Good job. The bookcases remind me of Christmas
Beautiful paint colors.. love how it's all coming together. 💕
It's looking fresh, yet traditional. Really good colors. Love the deeper red behind the bookcases - thinking of doing something like that myself...
Best one so far, as well as the animals.
I feel exhausted just watching you go! The compementary colors of green and reds are spectacular and all that hard work really paid off!
Great colors, and the curtains will pull everything together...Super job.
Thank you so much for another sweet video. Time well spent! Thank you!

Are you going to keep a dehumidifier in the room?
Love your choice of paint colors ❤
I love how much you encourage Barry! 🤣🙌 #teamworkmakesthedreamwork
You're a busy beaver Julie!
Perfect job everyone.
Looking spectacular! Congratulations!
In my opinion, the red that you used on the interiors of the bookcases is the color you should have used on the walls.
Glad your hands on!

So glamourous being a Viscountess! Hahaha. I hope y’all have an air cleaner to suck all the floating particles from sanding out of the room.
Looking good, love all your color choices.
You are amazing, Julie! Such a big project to take on.
i love the colors and the red is wonderful. 😍
Perfect choice of colors!

Who said they were multimillionaires???
