Clearly the Kenya government has never heard of Escrow. Any company selling off-plan houses should be required to open an Escrow account with a bank which only releases such money towards payments for construction of the house being bought!

I think this suraya main aim was to lure potential clients with this off plan thing by convincing them to make a downpayment because they werw short of funds to actually complete these projects and handover but they kept on getting many clients, got greedy accumlated money and who knows maybe channel the money to other investments and put their clients on hold so this is how it ends..ive learnt a lesson.
