Đặt Sonde dạ dày là 1 trong những kỹ thuật điều dưỡng cơ bản, tuy nhiên để đặt 1 ống nuôi ăn từ mũi/miệng đến dạ dày thành công, ít đau đớn cho người bệnh lại là một nghệ thuật. Người điều dưỡng cần nắm rõ các phần giải phẫu mũi - họng - thanh quản có liên quan, đồng thời hiểu được các phản ứng tự nhiên của cơ thể con người trong quá trình đặt ống để có thể đi ống dễ dàng và chính xác hơn.
