Hi There! Glad you enjoy these flea market trips. We mostly started going to the flea markets when the rivers were too high. Now we look forward to them! (We'd still rather be in the river though!) This was an exceptional day for deals! -Cathy 👋😃💖😎👍
Hi Cathy and Drew, so good to go to another sale with you! You certainly got some beautiful things and I am loving the Crackerjack toys, it would be great to see your collection 😀The marbles are stunning and the stoneware that Drew bought with the fancy top is a real bargain! I had no idea that Heinz ketchup came in such fancy bottles back in the day, I wish they still did lol. Hope all is well with you both 😁💖x
Hi Amanda, Glad you enjoyed the flea! That was a great day! I will show my CJ collection in a future vid (or series Lol). I love the detail and variety, and quality of the old metal ones. That ketchup was probably the nicest one Heinz ever had... And with the embossed pickle 🥒. We dread finding the newer ketchups.🙄 We are off to the mucky beach in about 6 hours (don't worry, we'll stay away from the low tide mud!) So I should try to get some sleep. Nice chatting with you though... I miss that on the off weeks! I'm still trying to get back on track. Hopefully another video next week. Hope all is going well with you. 😁💖
Hi Amanda, Mucky beach did not produce much for us (though our friends found some interesting things). But I went out yesterday, to my marble river.. I sent you an email w a pic of an amazing find! (I don't want to say here.. yet. Lol) What a day I had!! 😃 But Drew had to work. What a day! And now another snow storm.❄️🙄 So glad I got out! 💖
Hello Drew and Cathy so glad you are both doing well. Who can’t resist a great flea market and this was a good one! Love the bottles the colors are beautiful! Marbles are beautiful also great choices! Great video and buys ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Hi Cynthia! Great thing about marbles and Cracker Jack prizes.. they're small! I do ❤️ the old, metal CJ prizes though! Someday I will show my CJ collection. Thanks always! 👋😃😎👍
Hello Cath and Drew, this was a really nice video to watch and Lew and I enjoyed watching it. So many nice bottles finds there at really low prices. We like that odd cross thread top Hood's Lowell mass , Chemist bottle. We have never dug any of those up or have seen them for sale like you did at this Flea market. The pontil Atwood's bitters bottle is a really nice find to. Nice to see the old and rarer marbles and metal Cracker Jack toys at the end of this video. Awesome prices on them as well. It's sad news about what my neighbor told Lew and I about the Hollis NH flea market being sold for land development. It was on Facebook on (02/09/24 if I remember right. All of those venders will have to find another flea market to go to this spring of 2024. Of course there is the Londonderry NH Flea market and the Salem NH flea market that our neighbor Neal, and Lewis, and I go to. We hope you can experience them sometime in the future as well. We are looking forward to watching more of your videos. take care and happy hunting to the both of you,---- Jeffrey Hull Jr (Jeff & son Lew)
Hi Jeff & Lew, Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, that Lowell Chemist bottle with the wide, ground lip is unusual. I still don't know what exactly it contained. Perhaps even tablets, in a pharmacy?? (Just guessing at this point) I really scored on Cracker Jack! Yes, too bad about Hollis Flea, and Shirley's across the street as well. But we still have Todd Farm in Rowley. Or even Brimfield, but that place is mobbed/risky. Anyway, we hope for better weather this year for the river. That is what we enjoy most. -Cathy (& Drew)
The Cracker Jack prizes were a nice find!!!! I actually really like that Ketchup bottle. I've never seen one like it. I have a small collection of Kabar knives and I noticed that one on the first table. Very nice, even without the sheath. Happy Valentines day guys!
Thanks Anthony! I have sooo many CJ prizes! I need to do a video (series?) (I am also sorting through tons of marbles!) I'm so far behind on editing videos. That ketchup bottle is turning purple as well! I think it's probably the nicest bottle Heinz ever had. I would have to look back at that knife, but Drew knew what you were talking about!😎👍Thanks for your comments and ❤️ day wishes!
I have a couple of those catsup baseball bottles. One in sca, and the other two in different shades of aqua. That broken Langley's is a total heart breaker. I have a few in different shades and varying crudness. Just a good looking bottle. Y'all carried home a haul for sure from this flea market.
Hi Liz, I do not have that Heinz bottle in aqua. That Langley bottle.. sigh. But as you can see, Drew has lots of them. They are gorgeous bottles! And I think the (half a lip) on that one was different. Sounds like you have some nice bottles! It was definitely a great day at the flea.. bottles, marbles and Cracker Jack! 😁💖
I tellyawut that dog was really excited in the beginning of the vid ! I thought it made it “real life” 😅 That Schmidt crown top beer can was a keeper ! Those & cone top varieties are pretty rare & valuable these days …. Gosh I love flea markets ! ( when I was a kid, my older brothers told me they sold fleas - and I believed him ) I liked that little blue motorcycle dude ! And darn it …. Now I’m starting to like marbles Cathy ! Nice weather forecasted for your area this weekend - so Good Hunting !!! Give my regards to the Drew Meister ! 🍻
Haha You may have noticed the sound cut out a bit at the beginning, or get very low at times. I occasionally have to quiet yapping dogs (or yapping people). 🐕 Glad you finally saw a keeper (beer can) but I thought the condition on that one was a bit rough, and I don't collect them. I remember years ago, finding rusty cone top beer cans in the woods, but they were beyond recognition. "Blue motorcycle dude" was clearly the best CJ find for me in a while! I'll have to show at least some of my collection some day. Marbles: I have been sorting tons of marbles and posting some on the forum for ID. I am still not an expert. Oh, and I did find a marble today on the beach 😁.
@@massriverpickers I wonder if anyone ever object’s to you videoing their table ? People are a bit “unpredictable” these days I gave a fellow driver, the hang loose hand gesture the other day, and they chased me across town thinking I had given them a different type of gesture. Jeepers …. You guys better batten down the hatches you got a nor’easter headed your way. Happy Sunday ! Tell the Drew Meister, I learned how to play Roundabout 🤘🎸
I always ask the dealers if it's ok. I don't hide the fact I'm recording. Some dealers say is "ok, but don't show ME in the video" (either camera shy, or "WANTED" Lol 😄) And yes, snow is on the way. Oh, and Drew laughed and nodded approvingly at your Roundabout comment! 😎👍🎸
Hi Cathy...I posted a comment last night and it appears to be deleted now? Did you read one from me? Just curious? It had a link attached. Maybe that's a "no, no"? Let me know if you have time. Thanks so much! 😊
We did not get a comment from you. TH-cam yanks any comments with emails or links. Can't even ask to buy anything. Can you leave the comment without whatever the link was? Sorry this has happened to you! Sometimes TH-cam even hides our comments back! I believe our email is on our channel page if you click the "about" tab. Thank you for telling us this happened. ☹️ -Cathy 💖
@massriverpickers Thank you so much for letting me know! I posted a link with info on Lithia Park in Ashland, OR. There are drinking fountains where you can drink the lithia water. The bottle you bought made me think of it. It's a beautiful park (or it used to be...I haven't been back in several years). I also commented on your amazing finds and how much I loved the marbles you selected ❤️ 😀 Take care! Spring is on its way, hooray!
Thank you Sarah, I will look up that Lithia Park on the internet! Glad you enjoyed the video, and finds. It was a great day! I still have a few more flea market vids to edit.. they will pop up from time to time. Definitely can't wait for spring weather and longer days! Thanks again, Cathy💖
Gorgeous bottle.
That Langley's display is gorgeous!
Thank you! 😎👍
Cathy beautiful treasures. Gorgeous marbles. The green finds in this video were so interesting, the green colors were so alluring!
Hi Rita Glad you enjoyed the video. (Happier ending in this one. Lol)
Thanks always for watching and commenting! -Cathy 💖
