I get that she's a total brat, but she also lost her parents at a very young age, and was simultaneously thrust into the spotlight, and had her _manager_ , the person whose job it is to make her profitable, raise her for the rest of her teenage years. Obviously she's old enough now to have to take responsibility for her own actions and attitude, but I do think to an extent she's a product of what she has been through. Like -- imagine, you're 15. You're at an age where you're already supposed to be finding your true self and identity for the first time. You lose your parents, and in their place, you have fame and managers and yes men trying to build up your confidence so they can sell you at top dollar to the media. That time when you're discovering yourself and learning how to be an adult in the world is driven by profit and fame, without the grounding presence of your parents there to keep your head on straight. I have sympathy for Jaya, even if she's a total bitch. I really do. And I think she deserves a second chance, if she ever gets her head out of her own rear end long enough to take it.
