Perfect Bacon in the Microwave! Noreen's Kitchen

Greetings! What could go better with hot pumpkin waffles than crispy perfectly cooked bacon? Nothing! So we were taking a break from a busy morning to have some brunch together and Rick thought he would really enjoy having some bacon with the waffles. I thought it might be a good time to share with you how I cook my bacon quickly in the microwave!
I love to cook bacon in the oven, but when I am in a bit of a hurry I enjoy making it in the microwave. This is how I cook an entire pound of thick cut bacon quickly and to perfection in the microwave oven.
Use your microwave for more than heating water. Don't believe the reports about microwaves destroying the nutrition of food. It is simply unfounded science. Also do not believe the bunk about the plants watered with microwaved water dying. Again, simply unfounded science. There are many factors involved as to why that plant died. It was not a closed controlled experiment! Think for yourself. If it was true than why haven't half of the humans on earth dropped dead?
So I hope you find this helpful and I hope that if you live in a dorm, have to cook in a hotel room or simply have limited resources, such as having your kitchen remodeled, then you know that you can still cook yourself an amazing meal using the limited resources such as your microwave, coffee maker etc to enjoy!
