Hello... I am thinking of getting either Vivo v30e or motorolla edge plus. which one do you recommend? Which is a bit stronger if falls from bed or sofa.
Well, technically, all phones are treated to withstand minor falls and bumps. But it's difficult to say objectively. Based on my experience though, motorola phones have a better track record of durability and after-sale service for repairs.

I wanna get the redmi note 14 pro plus which has a curved screen but its equipped with gorilla glass victus 2 which is up to 2 meters drop resistant, would the screen still be fragile?
Screen durability is a confusing thing. It might survive a seemingly fatal fall, or get cracked from a minor incident. It's always best to not take the risk and have either a screen protector or a grippy case. Using a skin will also help improve your grip.
Should i buy a curved screen i will use it atleast for 4 years or should i go for flat screen? would curved bezels affect when it is kept in a mobile holder? The premiumness of cuved screen is main factor that i upgrade.if not what is the best solution for protection of cuved screen?
Curved screens are difficult to protect and keep inside accessories. They're only good for a smooth feel and a borderless look. There won't be any issues with a standard phone holder, as these phones have a strong enough frame on the sides, albeit covered with an edge screen. If you travel a lot and tend to use your phone outdoors more often, it may be better to get a flat screen one.
I wanted to get Samsung galaxy note 4 edge the first Samsung curved display phone, made my mind saying curved displays would disappear and went ahead with regular Note 4. Since then no curved displays as a personal device, used them in the showroom and never got one. Finally it's disappearing. I am sad now. Didn't get to experience it. 😂
I have used both types for a long time. The flat look better when the phone's display is off. It is aesthetically pleasing. But when the phone's display is on, the flat feel like we are looking down to the display and the picture is stuck inside. For curved, the display seem to pop out and a floating above the screen thus enhancing the visual quality. For the protective quality, it's hard to judge. Personally I prefer the curved one.
They look pretty, feel smooth, but are difficult to protect. The only solution I know is to get a grippy skin on the back so we don't drop it to begin with 😅

That's not really an issue I've noticed with well-made curved screen phones. The one I'm using currently has a stainless steel frame. No chance of bending accidentally.
Maybe they're using lower grade aluminium. Because 6000 series one, which they call "aircraft grade" is very strong. It's the same material Apple used in the iPhone 6s Plus to prevent the bending issue faced by the previous 6 Plus model
Yes, you can. I have been for the past few years. It's a little unnerving if the holder is tight or is metallic. So I recommend getting a threaded plastic one. amzn.to/3ULxcMY I use something like this.

6 years ago, aluminum and glass was as premium as they get in a phone. We still use similar designs today, just with stainless steel or titanium and stronger glass. And yes, the curved displays don't add much to the functionality.
Thickness of the material matters. Soft drink cans are nowhere near as thick as a phone's frame. And, on a side note, aircrafts use the same material, too. They use the same grade aluminum there. It's not a "buzzword" if what they've said is exactly what's in your hands.😂 An example of a buzzword is Apple's "sapphire crystal glass". Testing shows that it's just a thin layer and nothing close to that of original purity. But the 6000 series aluminum used in most phones is literally just that.
@@TheHopelessGeek yeah planes are soda cans with wings that have jet engines bolted to them. It's the same when it comes to rockets. The difference being aluminum is used in those applications due to its low weight. It's used in phones because it's cheap
Correct. It's cheap, and easy to machine, making it accessible for many. It suffices for the durability needs of a handheld device. If it's good enough for rocketships, it's certainly fine for a phone. 🙂

Thickness of the material matters. Soft drink cans are nowhere near as thick as a phone's frame.
And, on a side note, aircrafts use the same material, too. They use the same grade aluminum there. It's not a "buzzword" if what they've said is exactly what's in your hands.😂
An example of a buzzword is Apple's "sapphire crystal glass".
No pros, only cons 😐
😅 only Pro is that it looks good and feels smooth.

Okay
I feel that curved display looks like shit....its very weird for me...and its not practical too
I agree that it isn't anything practical. But it feels super smooth when you use edge gestures. Also, when viewing from the front, the side bezels disappear, making it look nice for watching content.
