noticed that the menu in 14:00 english menus are a little higher! do you know if this is normal? I'm planning on going soon so it's nice to know these stuff!!
Also, how long did it take for you to go through immigration? I know this may vary sometimes. Trying to estimate what arrival time (at hotel) would be for us.
When you arrive to Japan, you have to consider going through immigration AND customs. Immigration is focused on If you have any criminal background. Customs is focused on If you have any high prohibited or high value items. Both of these you can finish ahead of time via online, and it will give you two qr codes (Google "visit japan web"). Then when you arrive in Japan, instead of having to fill out paperwork, you have already completed that via your qr code and just scan your qr code. On timing, it depends how packed the airport for arrivals are when you land. So, hard to say. For us, i would say it took up to 30 min tops. That doesn't include getting pocket wifi, any train passes, money exchanges, etc.

Ok I will complete the immigration basics on Japan web. And estimate roughly an hour and a half tops between that, baggage claim, wifi, passes etc. Perhaps be at hotel by 7pm. Maybe a little earlier. Overall very helpful, thank you again.

We miss Japan too :3 I’m using Panasonic LX10 (works well for night shots) and an iPhone 11 (not so good to use when it’s dark) :D

I literally got lost for an hour at and around shinjuku station without internet and couldn’t find my friend. That station is huge
that sounds stressful 🙊 we also got lost at the train station.. but in shibuya 🙈 we couldn’t find the exit on our first day x)

good catch! :D out of all the places we ate at, this is the only restaurant where we saw a price difference… it doesn’t seem to be common. :)

We didn’t quite like the small double room x) but the location, price, and helpful staff compensated for the cramped room. :)
