I don't want to make fun of you or anything, but isn't it perhaps rather the case that it was precisely through the use of psychedelics that you found your way to Jesus in the end? Bro, yes! I had a demonic possession experience during a yogic healing ceremony with my ex-fiancée on Valentine’s Day. my theory for all these million "gods" is that from the times when angels fell from Heaven, they appeared to people and did miracles, and since then we got all of these myths about Zeus, Athena, Thor, etc. In other words, it was fallen angels that appeared to people throughout time and then they began worshipping them.

The hunger for oneness and peace can be very attractive for individuals suffering a lifetime of depression. What’s tricky is how some will say “to feel better, just pray and read.” But ti a true sufferer of depression it doesn’t work that way. What’s helped me is this phrase, “Endurance of the Saints.” I’ve come to understand that God hasn’t exempt us from suffering. And some suffering is even good for us….sucks to feel still but it produces what? Well eventually leads us to hope. The hope in the resurrection and hope of living with him after his return is what keeps us going.
Some manner of unclean spirit tried to pose as Jesus as I prayed. Was not speaking to me and I could not see it; but somehow it was telling me things that I wanted were ok when they were not. My clues were that the information was contrary to the Bible but I was addicted at the time and wanted to believe this new information. Still that alone made me question. However what made me know certainly something was wrong was that the entire time of the interaction; I had a twisting feeling in my midsection. Something was wrong. I later prayed again to Jesus and confessed this encounter and it has not happened again. Was sexually tempted that very night with dreams. Prayed to Jesus for help. Got delivered :)

This is bang on and why I always felt funny around some hyper charismatic people. They always gave me this sense that you can have God’s power and that we can tap into it if we have faith. However, they prioritized this over the fact that we need to repent and become more holy. They spoke like sheep but I sensed they were just new age snakes.

Remember in the Bible, they talk about when Moses had to compete with pharaohs soothe Sayers. He laid his staff on the ground and it turned into a snake they were able to do the same thing and if I remember this correctly, Moses snake ate the others so they can perform some miracles, but ultimately God has all of the power. I don’t know if I have that story exactly straight, but you can find it. It just proves the point that there are demonic forces out there that do have powers, but it’s only as much as God allows them to have.
I believe I had an awakening in Christ but it was also at the same time when I was opened up to demons. It was exquisite and horrifying, and when I came out of it I had to spend the next 7 years alone praying and fasting to truly know Christ. Please give me some info? I’ve tried to do yoga in a class at the YMCA. I have teeny tiny feet and a large body, so I realized I just couldn’t balance myself in one foot. Meditation was never involved. It literally was a very fit older woman teaching us to stretch, be better balanced, and nothing that felt demonic. How can simple yoga be demonic?

Read these books for better understanding "Born to hate reborn to love" by Klaus Kenneth and "The gurus, the young man and Elder Paisios" by Dionysius Farasiotis. Both authors tried yoga (to a very high level) and other 'religions' and new age practices. These books pulled me out of the hell of new age (various practices), yoga/mediation (different schools), reiki and more...THANKS TO GOD/JESUS CHRIST!
Very well explained. I too struggled for years to understand why my enlightened state was so powerful and so fulfilling if it came from a dark source? My conversion to Christ was even more powerful. But I have a feeling that it has a lot to do with the left and right brain hemispheres. Somehow it was easy to me to reach deep states in meditation because I am an artist and dwell a lot on the right side of the brain. Dr. Bolte Taylor described it well as neuroscientist when she had a stroke. The moment she realised that she had a stroke, she was excited, elevated, as she thought how cool it is to be able to study the brain from the inside out while it is happening. Only in short moments of clarity, meaning her left brain began to function again, did she received a warning that she was in a life-threatening situation. Whilst "Lucifer" may mean "Light-Bringer" and/or "Morning Star" it is not a term/title applied to Jesus Christ even though Jesus Christ is the Light-Bringer and Morning Star. Also, you must look at the context in which I was using that name/title. I once started dabbling in witchcraft. I was raised Catholic but I got mad at God after my brother died at 18 years of age. I'm not really an occultist or anything like that, but loved doing Yoga (Its healthy right)? And the bliss came. It felt wild almost, relaxing but wild in a way. God is a God of balance and peace. When I talked to a therapist about my "experiences", she told me I was treating it like it was a drug i gotta have. God won't put you on some wild bliss rollercoaster just like BAM!! When this bliss left, I fell into the worst, most frightening depression of my life and therapists didn't know what to tell me. I recently had open heart surgery, and as you would expect, they give you crazy drugs to put you under and to hide pain. Well, when I was awakened it seemed like l was sort of between here and someplace else. I saw my wife come towards me being followed by a cardiac nurse. The nurse was being closely followed by a ghostly demon that had a short wolf-like snout, mouth agape with short fanged teeth, and pointed ears atop its head. It was focused on the nurse and didn't notice that I could see it. That view disappeared as I became more alert, and all I saw after that were the people in the room. Later I told my wife what I saw, and she said that the nurse was unfriendly and annoyed with her for wanting to see me. She said that her behavior was off. No question that what I saw was driven by the drugs I was given, but I believe it allowed me to see something that we normally can't see but which is there.

They have enough faith to perform miracles in his name but still choose to sin! So, even some who appear to be God's own are not! He showed me an event from my childhood that effected my whole life. Over night everything changed. A year later I went again wanting some clarity on jesus. I was not quite believing. In that experience I believe I was visited by the holy spirit. I saw jesus carrying his cross and he spoke to me. It was the most profound experience of my life. I became a 100% believer. And got baptized. Have been a devout Christian since. I met some wonderful people but know there is a ton of that new age stuff attached. And as such I have pulled away. I question though. Were it not for Aya I wouldn't have found Christ. I've seen it help a lot of people too. I'm pretty confused

If your experience told you that Jesus is Lord, then it was from God. The Bible says as much in 1 John 4. Be happy you did not have a hell experience as some have.

As an avid meditator and yogi who has a relationship with Christ, this doesn't feel like truth to me. I don't think meditation or yoga is inherently good or evil just like I don't think electricity is good or evil. You can use it to power a school or a hospital or you can use it to create bombs, weapons, and other terrible things. I believe Jesus himself was teaching Yoga, just not the kind of Yoga most westerners are used to. At the end of the day, Christ is King. If something leads you to become more Christlike in your daily life, it cannot be demonic
I agree I held Jesus in my heart from the beginning and I’ve tasted little bits of bliss and peace but Christ is something else man can’t suppress that energy at all. Yeah, I think you're right. It's a simplistic view based on partial understanding. I was told that Kundalini amplifies both positive and negative, so if you don't have yourself sorted out then it can be catastrophic. Bruce Frantzis said that in his Taoist tradition the Kundalini energy is the last thing they work with because of this reason. The right things need to be amplified.
If you have a relationship with Christ it means you have experienced the Holly spirit, the way the trinity operates is through guidance coming from the father, not your own doing of external things to seek power on your own. When you expose yourself to things not approved by the trinity, that is when you get in trouble, he is right, things will look good even if they are bad. How to avoid getting lost? Simply by being aligned with the Holly spirit.
You can't be talking about the historical biblical Jesus Christ. If you're talking about transcendental meditation, it is not taught nor practiced in the Bible or by the early Christian church fathers. Eastern mysticism is not a path to enlightenment. i don't think your understanding of christ vs kundalini is complete, anton. take a look at the story of balaam. he had great occult power (to bless & curse) and spoke with god face to face just like moses. yet he was evil, as evidenced by the fact that the israelites later slew him during the midianite war. Yes, you’re right. He has essentially changed one delusion (new age) for another (Christianity). Not to say that there’s nothing what’s right and correct in new age and in Christianity per say. What we call demons is often a projection of our fears. Kundalini is the Holy Spirit, Life force, Creation Energy, or Sexual Energy. A false light or demon will not have the energy of Unconditional Love... But they may place visions in your mind that make you feel blissful or happy. Repentance may be necessary as the word means to go beyond the mind or shift your perspective. That's how a spiritual awakening can occur. A spiritual phenomenon can happen in many different ways. Putting your faith in Jesus is one method. He becomes your permission slip. Even a vision of Jesus needs spiritual and intuitive discernment.
So I met a person who had died and said he met and hugged Jesus in heaven. Now this person went from severe pain, anxiety, and depression to complete healing after he returned, but now he has become a Reiki healer. He said Jesus taught him how to do that. What’s helped me is this phrase, “Endurance of the Saints.” I’ve come to understand that God hasn’t exempt us from suffering. And some suffering is even good for us….sucks to feel still but it produces what? Well eventually leads us to hope. The hope in the resurrection and hope of living with him after his return is what keeps us going.

This is bang on and why I always felt funny around some hyper charismatic people. They always gave me this sense that you can have God’s power and that we can tap into it if we have faith. However, they prioritized this over the fact that we need to repent and become more holy. They spoke like sheep but I sensed they were just new age snakes.

Remember in the Bible, they talk about when Moses had to compete with pharaohs soothe Sayers. He laid his staff on the ground and it turned into a snake they were able to do the same thing and if I remember this correctly, Moses snake ate the others so they can perform some miracles, but ultimately God has all of the power. I don’t know if I have that story exactly straight, but you can find it. It just proves the point that there are demonic forces out there that do have powers, but it’s only as much as God allows them to have.
I believe I had an awakening in Christ but it was also at the same time when I was opened up to demons. It was exquisite and horrifying, and when I came out of it I had to spend the next 7 years alone praying and fasting to truly know Christ. Please give me some info? I’ve tried to do yoga in a class at the YMCA. I have teeny tiny feet and a large body, so I realized I just couldn’t balance myself in one foot. Meditation was never involved. It literally was a very fit older woman teaching us to stretch, be better balanced, and nothing that felt demonic. How can simple yoga be demonic?

Dr. Bolte Taylor described it well as neuroscientist when she had a stroke. The moment she realised that she had a stroke, she was excited, elevated, as she thought how cool it is to be able to study the brain from the inside out while it is happening. Only in short moments of clarity, meaning her left brain began to function again, did she received a warning that she was in a life-threatening situation. My whole point was to remind people of the biblical story in which a single being seduced, corrupted, and condemned many with his words and charisma simply because of his own pride and self-righteousness as it applies to the conversation Joe was having about the supposed powers of the occult, cults, and cult leaders and the experiences people have had.
The moral of the story was to be careful as to who you listen to as they may seduce, condemn, and corrupt you along the way.

I'm not really an occultist or anything like that, but loved doing Yoga (Its healthy right)? And the bliss came. It felt wild almost, relaxing but wild in a way. God is a God of balance and peace. When I talked to a therapist about my "experiences", she told me I was treating it like it was a drug i gotta have. God won't put you on some wild bliss rollercoaster just like BAM!! When this bliss left, I fell into the worst, most frightening depression of my life and therapists didn't know what to tell me. One said "I dont know what else to say, I dont know how to help you with this". Stay away from the hype thing. Feels real elating and good, all that, but I wasn't even doing anything to deserve (or be READY) for such an outpouring of whatever it was.

In 2015 and the teachings of Tony Robbins, Joe Dispenza, Vishen Lakhiani and in the pursuit of success. It does work at first but ultimately leads.to distruction.

I recently had open heart surgery, and as you would expect, they give you crazy drugs to put you under and to hide pain. Well, when I was awakened it seemed like l was sort of between here and someplace else. I saw my wife come towards me being followed by a cardiac nurse. The nurse was being closely followed by a ghostly demon that had a short wolf-like snout, mouth agape with short fanged teeth, and pointed ears atop its head. It was focused on the nurse and didn't notice that I could see it.
That view disappeared as I became more alert, and all I saw after that were the people in the room. Later I told my wife what I saw, and she said that the nurse was unfriendly and annoyed with her for wanting to see me. She said that her behavior was off.
No question that what I saw was driven by the drugs I was given, but I believe it allowed me to see something that we normally can't see but which is there.

Great message, but Jesus also said many will call him Lord and prophesy in his name and cast out demons yet still be cast away on Judgment Day for choosing sin. They have enough faith to perform miracles in his name but still choose to sin! So, even some who appear to be God's own are not! Sorry for the double post. Dude. Maybe you can help. 4 years ago I was lost. In a bad place. Unfit. Un healthy. On hard drugs. I went on a ayahuasca retreat and believe I had a godly experience. He showed me an event from my childhood that effected my whole life. Over night everything changed. A year later I went again wanting some clarity on jesus. I was not quite believing. In that experience I believe I was visited by the holy spirit. I saw jesus carrying his cross and he spoke to me. It was the most profound experience of my life. I became a 100% believer. And got baptized. Have been a devout Christian since.
I met some wonderful people but know there is a ton of that new age stuff attached. And as such I have pulled away. I question though. Were it not for Aya I wouldn't have found Christ. I've seen it help a lot of people too.

As an avid meditator and yogi who has a relationship with Christ, this doesn't feel like truth to me. I don't think meditation or yoga is inherently good or evil just like I don't think electricity is good or evil. You can use it to power a school or a hospital or you can use it to create bombs, weapons, and other terrible things. I believe Jesus himself was teaching Yoga, just not the kind of Yoga most westerners are used to. At the end of the day, Christ is King. If something leads you to become more Christlike in your daily life, it cannot be demonic
I agree I held Jesus in my heart from the beginning and I’ve tasted little bits of bliss and peace but Christ is something else man can’t suppress that energy at all. Yeah, I think you're right. It's a simplistic view based on partial understanding. I was told that Kundalini amplifies both positive and negative, so if you don't have yourself sorted out then it can be catastrophic. Bruce Frantzis said that in his Taoist tradition the Kundalini energy is the last thing they work with because of this reason. The right things need to be amplified.
If you have a relationship with Christ it means you have experienced the Holly spirit, the way the trinity operates is through guidance coming from the father, not your own doing of external things to seek power on your own. When you expose yourself to things not approved by the trinity, that is when you get in trouble, he is right, things will look good even if they are bad. How to avoid getting lost? Simply by being aligned with the Holly spirit.
You can't be talking about the historical biblical Jesus Christ. If you're talking about transcendental meditation, it is not taught nor practiced in the Bible or by the early Christian church fathers. Eastern mysticism is not a path to enlightenment. i don't think your understanding of christ vs kundalini is complete, anton. take a look at the story of balaam. he had great occult power (to bless & curse) and spoke with god face to face just like moses. yet he was evil, as evidenced by the fact that the israelites later slew him during the midianite war. Yes, you’re right. He has essentially changed one delusion (new age) for another (Christianity). Not to say that there’s nothing what’s right and correct in new age and in Christianity per say. What we call demons is often a projection of our fears. Kundalini is the Holy Spirit, Life force, Creation Energy, or Sexual Energy. A false light or demon will not have the energy of Unconditional Love... But they may place visions in your mind that make you feel blissful or happy.
Repentance may be necessary as the word means to go beyond the mind or shift your perspective. That's how a spiritual awakening can occur. A spiritual phenomenon can happen in many different ways. Putting your faith in Jesus is one method. He becomes your permission slip. Even a vision of Jesus needs spiritual and intuitive discernment.

So I met a person who had died and said he met and hugged Jesus in heaven. Now this person went from severe pain, anxiety, and depression to complete healing after he returned, but now he has become a Reiki healer. He said Jesus taught him how to do that. Do you think it is possible someone can die, and Satan can appear to them to look like Jesus, in order that when they go back to Earth, they believe a deceitful lie?
