Miss Li and her band are great. i'm addicted to her music. more than 10 years ago when i discovered her. there so many songs you have listen to....especially the earlier songs...I Can't Get You Off My Mind, Bring it Back, I Thought I Knew You, Is This The End, My Man, not that kind of girl,Not The One I Need, Polythene Queen, Seems Like We Lost It, Shoot MeThe Happy Sinner, Don't try to fool me....loved it when she played in little clubs here in germany. the sound of this 'live' playing music was awesome. the double bass, trumpet, violine...a soud you have to love :-)

Hi BM. Courtney flew to Sweden to collaborate and write with Miss Li (Linda Karlsson) soon after AGT and on multiple occasions. This was a huge hit for Miss Li in Sweden and surrounding areas, although it never made it really big on a world wide basis. Miss Li continues to win awards for her music in Sweden and has had multiple number 1 singles there. She is a an amazing artist and also one of the nicest and most generous of people with her music and time and Courtney speaks so highly of her and her husband, music producer Sonny Boy Gustafsson.

@@BeardedReactions Courtney and Miss Li never released any music from their collaboration as of yet. Don’t know if any will be released on Courtney’s first album. This was primarily a writing collaboration although you saw from Courtney’s ‘Love Hurts’ that she covered some of Miss Li’s material. Since the hearing of ‘Love Hurts’ was unplanned, assume there are other Miss Li songs Courtney has covered during their collaboration, but not yet released.
You have to look up aqualung with Miss Lee! I don't know if I love the acustic version or the studio version more 😊
B. Mama, Miss Li is really good and a regional celebrity in Europe. She apparently also was a kind and helpful mentor to Courtney. Some of us have wondered how Li and studio personnel reacted to Courtney's version of Love Hurts as it was done on the same backing track as this one. I admit bias, and this is not meant to be competitive, but I give Miss Li a 9 and Courtney a 10+!

@@BeardedReactions I don't know of any videograhic documentation. At the time she was actively working on her album, and private sessions at a studio with Miss Li were just reported. Courtney's professional relationships have since evolved in some unclear ways.
