I may have to invest in these. I just got the Ryu and Ken double set. They look amazing but getting them to stand up on their own is a nightmare! I kinda feel like some sort of stand should be included with each figure.
@@freddybeer They do, but it requires patience. Check my "how to pose" video too. Both, the Aftermath and that are in german though. Hope subtitles work for you.
Yeah, sadly, apart from some points of articulation missing, the QC is a real hit and miss. I had a few clamps break on me. Please report back any problems. Thanks.
I got two of these, but the soft ratchet in the clamp is too loose IMHO, can not hold much weight, so having a figure in a horizontal flying pose is a bit difficult. Definetely needs improving.
@@TimKaysNerdcrate Yeah it was BigBadToyStore. I had it on pre-order and just got it today so I think that the batch they got was a factory defect with the plastic. I'm trying to get it resolved with them. If only I could attach that 1/12 claw they'd be the best figure stands, bar none.
@@TimKaysNerdcrate I'm a huge fan of Sh Figuarts Marvel and Star Wars figures and those stands would be solid enough to pose them in the air and be very dynamic looking.
Sorry to hear that. I have to say that, in retrospective, 2 broke on me too. One on the peg where clamp clips on to, on the other the clamp itself broke. :/
@@TimKaysNerdcrate Yeah, I canceled all my Storm Stands from BBTS. I like the flight stands that are included with Mcfarlane (e.g. Superman) and NECA but I don't know where to purchase them separately :(

Oh, that's bad. Sorry to hear. I have zero problems with mine, but on my buddy's the clamps broke off, so there are definitely mishaps in QC.
@@TimKaysNerdcrate Just opened the second one and the big clamp on that one is better, it clicks on properly and has more resistance.

Depends on the kind of figure you want to do stop motion with. With what figures do you want to use them?

Then I'd try the Bandai tamashi nations. On those angles are possible too.
If you want the most stable though: Storm.
Crappy stand broke in two seconds. No instructions. Tried following this video and it snapped...great
