I ended up getting the Selens pistol grip stand. I tried using a mobile light stand but I didn't want to spend the extra money for the magic arms. Plus it's difficult to adjust the arms with clamps. The pistol grips are very easy to adjust up or down and rotate 360 degrees. It is also a simpler and easier set up IMO. The Selens pistol grip stand fits perfectly in rooms with 8 foot high ceilings or higher.
Just found your channel and loving it! This ONE STAND setup gives me some great ideas, thanks! I'm getting ready to make language education home studio talking head type content. I just watched some of your iPhone videos. Would you recommend an iPhone 15/16 pro or a mirrorless setup like zv-e10/sigma for my type of content? I have great lights and audio. Many thanks Paul!
That setup is soooo bad. Look at how much it wobbles and good luck trying to get your camera level using a super clamp arm. The idea is great but you need a more study base. This video seems like you had to make a video and you made this quick without too much thought. Can you imagine bumping into your top heavy monopod stand and all your gear crashing down.
Love the set up Paul. :) Very cool!
Thanks! It’s very convenient ;)
@@PaulHeimlund Yeah I'm gonna try it out, :) I learn a lot from you Bro! hehe.

@@ckdesignlab Cool! Haven’t tried the pistol grips, but it looks alright. Thanks for sharing 🥳
