The heavy rain and thunder that Pin is scared of here protect them from judging eyes of the society. For me, it is not a lustful desire, but it is how they express their love out of longing and desperation.
That car scene was brilliant. The rain, shots of the people, music and the filming and acting in the car. That's before getting into the deeper meaning of these aspects of the thunder, people outside, daytime etc. Just so good! Everyone who worked on the scene did amazing.

The car scene screams desire and longing, desperation of lovers who are being separated and though it wasn't maybe as raunchy or long as the other love scenes, it's probably becoming my favorite, the setting, the emotions, the music. Just wonderful episode, hope the views will show that as well.
