I went the other weekend, was ok, slightly disappointed in the train ride, the light fixtures had a lot of lights that didn’t work on them, so you didn’t get the full effect of the enjoyment of the 12 days of Christmas song that corresponded with the fixtures. I was going to inform someone incase if the park was unaware, but had no idea who to mention it to
I’m sad that no one mentioned the lack of eggnog at the park. Also I feel that while racer was a great addition for the event because none of the family coasters were open. Honestly the only coasters I can see them opening is the other family coasters like Backlot and Express. But honestly the park should focus on upgrading the current rides like the train before they add new coasters. This is easily the best year of the event so far but there’s definitely things they can continue to improve on.
Yes beagle scout acres was open. It was busy yesterday Sunday. The hotdog stand was not open. Soapbox racers was running quick ops yesterday and had a good line.
The Songs From Nativity needs a more respectful location away from noisy rides. Action Zone or in front of Stunt Coaster come to mind. Blitzen Brass Band should not have to play outside in the cold! Brewhouse is my suggestion. Remember when there used to be music in there?
I absolutely understand why the Racer should run 2 trains total and why people want them to race with one on each side. However at least part of the nights I’ve been there I noticed the blue side be closed at some point with no one staffed over there, yielding one train ops total. I would have preferred a red side only with two trains and rebrand it as “Sleigh Ride” similarly to Flight of Cheer to ensure 2 train ops all evening.
I think someone needs to mention the fast lane lines. When there’s only a few coasters open and they’re running one or two trains, it’s a problem on Saturdays. The handicap and fast lane people keep lapping Mystic timbers, and the regular people are waiting in line for almost 2 hours.
I may have missed it, but did anyone mention extended hours for Winterfest. Other venues seem to have longer hours for their winter events. This would probably increase attendance also.
When I worked at Kings Island I had an incident with a Bat on the walking path to the water park. I had to wait for landscaping/animal control and keep guests away from this bat. As soon as they go to capture it it flies right at my head. I ducked as if a Randy Johnson fastball was coming right at me. I have hated bats ever since.
No disrespect I hope everyone care can take a joke but come on this looks like a lineup for America's creepiest offenders where do you find these people😂😂😂

You didn’t miss much with the train ride. Most would agree that it’s a big opportunity for improvement of WinterFest, even at its best.

My favorite winterfsst treat is hot cocoa cookies at the sweet spot.
I think they should add some decor and lights on the 50 ft level of the Eiffel Tower, that would look so good!
If Kris was there opening night, it was too cold for the racer to run.

No follow up questions by the hosts to the members of the panel made this episode very choppy and not an enjoyable listen.

No one makes it on TT by being “normal.” 🤣
