Eric is getting better as well. Kingfish & Erik offer Two different playing styles. Comes from the two different people, two different experiences. Blues is not a Genre of music. Blues is HUMAN!
I'm not saying that my favorite bands sing to the audience with their heart and soul. You can feel that combination with Erik and his band.. He strikes everyone down the core.
It’s his hands , his knaggs guitar and amp all working in perfect harmony. Not sure what gauge of strings he uses, but those knaggs guitars are some of the best ever made . Beastly tones
This the first comment I seen and now I have to go watch. When I seen the name of the vid, my initial thought was, it can’t be better than Kingfish’s. Your comment made me watch. Let me listen and see for myself. (I think kingfish has the better cover)
Rhythm section desperately trying to convince each other they know exactly which day it is. Drummer sounds even worse than Lars . Fair cop though, they're probably both completely deaf by now....ln which case I'm .. impressed.
This is the case with most of the great guitar players out there - Matt Scofield, Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher, Bonamassa are all poor singers. But someone has to sing. Maybe they don’t make enough to pay for another band member (except for Bonamassa), maybe they want to be self-sufficient, not have to deal with lead singer-itis. Maybe their management convinces them they can do it. None of them can. There are exceptions but mostly people can be great at one thing but not two.
PRETTY GOOD JOB ERIC. AS YOU GO ON WORK ON YOUR VOICE, WORK WITH A VOCAL TRAINER LIKE SRV DID. AND IT MADE HIS VOICE SOUND SO MUCH MORE FROM THE HEART, OH YES, TRAINER CAN GET YOU TO GO WHERE YOU HAD NO IDEA ...YUUP.... HEYWHO MADE THAT BASS PLAYERS BASS . HOW LONG IS THE WHOLE THING
Great music! One of my favourites
Thanks so much for this outstanding video of yours, Natasha 💕

I love Kingfish’s version of this song, but this is just as good, maybe even better ( the interaction with the bass player ) . Great music!
My favorite modern player by far , love his tone , phrasing and overall style . Blues metal
Baby !!
Just heard Eric today for the first time. Putting him on my list of Better Guitarists.....plays like he really means it.

Damn good observation 👌
Don’t forget about Michael Burks’ version.

Eric, je ne peux m'empêcher de te dire que tu es un super musicien.. Tu es impressionnant . !
Love your tone!
Du haut de ses 32 ans, Eric est une méga bête ! Qu'il continue à nous faire vibrer comme il le fait a sa guitare 🎸... Rock and blues !
eric is pretty good. One can tell he has spent a lot of time with his instrument. Cheers.
Guy is a beast on the Hammond organ too.
another good cover of Michael Burk's masterpiece !!!

Wow..woke my ass right up…..!!
I love his low tones! So much Bill Gibbons!

I don't know whose cover is better? His or Kingfish's cover?
Both equally and all kinds of nasty
Two different approaches but love both leaning towards king fish

Michael Burk and kingfish's version is what I prefer but this one good also.
Gran chitarrista, che chitarra è?
Barry gibb on guitar 😊

Brand of that guitar? Thanx
Joe Knaggs former PRS private stock manager who went on his own.
No truer song There is.
Too much SRV licks but nice
Are you deaf? Eric plays a heavy blues style, listen Phillip Sayce a monster player too with a very SRV tone.
@@juanjosemartinez6757 playing srv licks with a tune o matic guitar is another talent of eric lol

ahahah the bass player is embarrassing.....but Eric is a true monster !!!

Guitar way way way above though
