that game is so fun, i was playing it yesterday with my friends at my local arcade and right around the corner from the finish line i pushed a car into my friend and passed him, super fun but then some reddit moderators took over and hogged it for a whole hour
i used to just drive for fun. like a normal person shifting gears not trying to win, thats why when i was actually getting my diving lisence at 18 the person who conducts the test was quite suprised.
damn I really miss playing these games. if I don't have anything else to play I use all my tokens on this game and race with other people. Everyone's so nice after finishing a game :))

pro tip, dont be scared, i play like shit but at the end of the day im having fun, the easiest way to learn manual transmission is by looking at the rpm meter, when its pointing at redlines(max rpm) change gear/shift up, if youre losing rpm, the rpm meter will be pointing at 12 o clock or basically the middle of the rpm meter, down shift. when im turning i usually down shift if iam in higher gear(5 down shift to 4, or 4 to 3), and if youre on straight youre basically playing a drag race, just shift up everytime you redline. this game requires no clutch so dont need to worry.
I play this like 5 hour ago its so fun!, The tip is you must memorized the gear locations(i keep changing my 1 gear all the way to 4 because its my first time playing XD) its pretty easy tbh, change gear when it hit redline(if you play any drag racing games this is just a piece of cake), watch the road because you must avoid any car, if you see a "!" Sign turn left or right, don't go unga bunga to middle you're gonna hit a 🚧. Next time i play that arcade game again, i will make sure to be 1st. Mark my word!
didnt learn how to downshift properly until my dad said "downshift to FOUR, not FIVE" but i still beat the kid next to me by choosing the map that looked like it had a lot of turns. i got stuck with a low hp car that had 240 hp while he chose a 300 hp one. couldnt really change it because i was stuck with it but still beat him regardless. got cocky by his 2nd win so i did that and went home cuz that was my last turn

going into sharp corners change it to gear 3 or 4 cuz when its in 5 / 6 / 7 it will be too fast for ur car and u hv to brake and accelerate. As for 3 and 4 u wont have to brake and accelerate its more convenient
The guy who said all that stuff is wrong, there are levels to which someone can play, the most basic is shifting when the revs hit 8 or 9, when coming up to any sort of corner besides blue as a beginner if you don’t want to crash (especially on a map you don’t know) shifts down and brake or let go of the accelerator
i just played yesterday if someone is using a car with higher hp than you, select a map with tight corners lol. other than that, try to stay on 4 or 5th gear on turns. 5 is manageable if you break early. then switch immediately to 4th gear, then naturally build speed up
this game looks so fun, i really wanna play it but im a noob and just started playing it 😭 The last time i tried it, i kept crashing into other cars and (ps, im a girl) so a lot of the other players who were predominantly boys stared at me playing. I felt so embarassed but i really want to keep improving because its so riveting. I would love tips tho because i truly do suck (and would love to be slightly less lame)
