I don’t want to use noise cancelling all day as they tend to make me uncomfortable and tweak my tinnitus over time. Maybe I should build myself an isolation chamber in the garage.
I recommend the Beyerdynamic DT 770. Comfortable, great isolation, excellent sound. However, they do have a bit of a treble spike, which may affect your tinnitus. They also will need an amp. Hope I could help! I have other recommendations if you're interested.
@@warmlycalculated390 Thanks for the recommendation! I'll look into those. I'm very new to closed-back; as I always have owned open backed to make sure I could hear my family if they needed me. I then took a handful of toilet paper and stuffed each cup with a handful on top of the bubble wrap…..Lo and behold..that evened the sound out. They now sound like Koss kcf75’s on steroids. The soundstage is A lot wider and I swear vocals sound as I’m in the sound booth with the artist, I can hear every breath they take. And the reverb is a lot more dominant with the vocals!! I tested this on a Lg v60 and Lg g8 using the Usb audio player app, with bit perfect mode activated.

I live in an old building with no central anything. Major plus, I can run these balanced out of my MT-604. My AKG K371, which I love, can’t do that.
I tried off of only frog farts. I make no claims if Badger farts or princess farts will do the same job
@@ZReviews omg lolloloo amazing, well played
I took my K371 out once and one side died, considering attempting to fix them considering how much I liked them
Hi Z Reviews
How do these compare to Sennheiser HD560S and AKG K371?
That's actual information that might stop you buying them, you are in the wrong place.
@@surreptitiousscreamer So you're saying these B50s are not better? :D
@@BetteBalterZen haha :D
@@surreptitiousscreamer Just love straight answers :D
560s as boring as how do I wouldn't compare these to those at all. K371 probably had better detail in the high-end but not as wide a sound stage and certainly not as deep a low-end.
The trick is to find a reviewer that shares your ear...your version of what good sound is. I bought the SHP's....awesome....I bought the KPH....awesome and a I couldn't believe it at first situation......grabbed the Senn 560s because I found a pair for $50 but got them "after" your review.....if I'm interested in a headphone I check your site first to see what you think....you like them, I buy them, you don't, I don't. You have yet to let me down. Tks.
guys, HBB made a video about the Blon B50, the graph is a mess
Hahaha Z is the man!!! Phil collins flying his airplane getting blowed and doing blow!!! This is why this is my favorite channel! I find it amazing what goes through his head sometimes … lol
just ordered for 109e from linsoul, thanks for the recommendation. I was looking for closed back headphones for my office to not be bothered by the office noises and after I bought tin T2 due to your recommendation few years ago I am sure these will be great as well. Could you please compare them to Audio-Technica ATH-M50X as they were also ones I considered
Yoo, how did u Pay in euro on Linsoul?
@Blitzen no the price was in USD 119, but 109e was taken from my account as my account is in euros
We watch what we can’t buy in the hope to one day be able to? I waited a year and finally got a 2nd hand ie600 because of your review - and you know what you were right, they do magic.
update: they do magic with the right dacamp :D with some they will sound very neutral and boring - the magic is in the high frequencies where seperation, resolution and space appears.
So if I listen to 95% bass heavy electronic music, I should get the b60's?
They will shake yo booty a bit more.
Man, if they folded, id have bought them immediately. I need some new portable cans. As it is, I have meze 99's so theres no need for another bulky pair of comfortable closed backs I can't take anywhere.
Bummer. I really do need some good folding closed backs. I wish the $400 Dan Clarks folded like the $800 ones.
Not only do these not fold but they're huge compared to anything you would take portable
how does this compare to the dt880 600ohm? I saw your review on that and you seemed to really like those.
These are closed, Those open and impossible to drive. I honestly would never compare the two they deliver sound very differently.
@@ZReviews oh okay, I ended up getting the dt900 pro x headphones for gaming instead of these. Apparently those image very well for hearing footsteps in games.
Are these good for mixing music?
100% no. They would make everything you're mixing sound amazing and you would stop actually fixing the problems that are in the track
@@ZReviews Thank you for the heads up
Nice flat surface to mount a ModMic.
I bought these yesterday without knowing anything about them. There is literally no information/ reviews/ graphs online anywhere. I can now rest easy...
Also "Congo" SLAPS!
But what do you think of them?
@@samray3461 They havent come in yet. Chinese New Year is pushing orders back if you order from ChiFi shops 😭
Damn, I bet you were disappointed.
Dang! Just bought the Hifiman Sundara BUT I'm not envious because with EQ the planar bass is MAJESTIC.
You did nothing wrong
I don’t have any good closed back headphones and lately I’ve been thinking of getting one. Good timing!
i have akg k52s are those any good ? they were 30 dollars or so
Got me for a second, then I saw these were from Linsoul. Got baited into a set of some $16 in ears and was pretty shocked at what I got for $16 bucks. Been looking for a set of closed cans, maybe ill try these
I don’t want anything more after Sundara, THX789, Khadas tone board with an EQ APO config. RME ADI DAC 2 FS instead sometimes. Plus JBL 530s on my PC. Killed years of upgradeitis. But I can’t stop watching these reviews 😂
is there any reason you don't have an 80 ohm DT 770 pro review up on the channel? just curious!
Went all in on my gaming setup, HD800s, Monolith THX AAA amp/dac.
Still looking for better, not because it's needed but, you know.
Thank you so much for this review! I am about to go through hell; as I have PTSD/anxiety and a neighbor 20 feet away will be doing major construction for probably a year. I ordered these and hope they will be enough to help me through it. Does anyone have any other advise on noise isolation headphones (even if much more expensive)?
Now I need as much isolation as possible, and it's a whole new world. I have a lot of amp power, so that's not a problem (RME ADI-2 Pro).
@@mk500 If you want slightly more expensive (that's an AMAZING amp btw), look at the Aeon Closed X on Drop. Very good planar with a nice soundstage (for a closed) with good isolation. Well built too. For $500 it offers some of the best price-to-performance on the market.
@@warmlycalculated390 Those AEON CLOSED X seem like a really good fit for me from all the research/reviews I found. I ordered some and will let you know what I think. Thanks again for your help!
@@mk500 Excellent choice! I do not think you will be disappointed, particularly if you prefer neutral (but not boring) sound. They isolate well and are VERY comfortable. They also have titanium yokes and carbon fiber cups. Can't wait to hear what you think.
Dude, you know people hear your reviews and go buy stuff. Watching your channel is EXPENSIVE! I love hearing about multi thousand dollar systems but the average guy isn't interested when you review products over a grand. I confess I had stopped watching for awhile and started watching reviewers do less expensive items more in my price range. Opened the homepage and I saw $120 and was like ok now I'm interested.
Thanks Zeos! Always love the videos and twitch streams love getting the equipment more in my price range! 🥃
Worth the upgrade from k361 to these? Just desktop use plugged to motu m2
Im going to say yes.
Hey, I placed my order already but I have a question, is there an brainwavz or other brand earpads that fit these?. ( So I know in the future)
How is the imaging on these things?
I think there are better for the cost since these mostly focus on super wide soundstage
In the description you have the Koss proAA instead of the AAA listed was that on purpose?
Hey, who doesn’t like a” Blon” with a nice set of “ Cans” on her…😂
Okay, I’ve been experimenting a lot more with these headphones. I just took a shot in the dark with this new hack. So I took a handful of bubble wrap ( yes bubble wrap) and stuffed each cup with a handful. That gave a much better sound, but peircing. Now, hear me out. I tested this on a Lg v60 and Lg g8 using the Usb audio player app, with bit perfect mode activated.
u have any tipps on good openback headphones for people with HUGE heads? currently running the dt990 edition, they fit okay when maxed out. max price range to like around 300 euros if possible +-100
Fidelio X2HR or X3. Those are BIG
I had to sell my Meze 99 noirs for some extra money and I miss them terribly. But now I can actually buy another pair but now I'm second guessing if I want the noirs again or to try something new. Then this fuckin thing shows up and makes it more difficult lol
i received B50 to make a review
only thing good is the case and cable
7:15 what song was that? Sounds familiar
Is this the best closed backs for gaming? Even with Epos H6 Pros and DT 770 Pro? Is that what your title suggests?
How about the AKG K361? Creative Aurvana Live? Rode NTH 100? Hifiman 400SE?
If you want soundstage.. And I do.. then I would probably take this over most of those.
@@in-earfetish over what headphones?
H6 pro blow all the rest out of the water including the Blons.
@@DocRye1228 just get the h6 pro trust me. They are leagues ahead of Blons
I love you reviews of nice stuff, you're the reason i have my th-x00 purplehearts and my hd660s. You are about to be the reason I have my edifier 350dbs(hopefully gonna combo them into a future bedroom theater setup later on). Love the humor/anime and our ears are compatible enough that your reviews generally lead me where I wanna be
how do you get a replacement cable for these for cheap maybe as well?
I have fidelio x2hr love them but have loud family and sometimes I wish I had a close back. any recommendations. (Gaming/music)
Would be nice for it to have a attenuation measurement, how is it compared to the sennheiser 100€ ones and the rodes?
you could hear his smile in this video! Awesome!
my gaming headset i use cause i got them so cheap are the monolith m1570, love them. but late at night it bothers my gf cause of the open backs. what would be the headset close to the m1570 closed back?
i have them paried with topping L50/E50
what yaxi pads do you use for the ether? the k712 one?
You should tell them to put that on the box: "Powerable by Frog Farts"
I'm thinking about doing the Biodynamic driver mod you suggested (if I can actually find them for sale anywhere), any advice going into that/where I could actually buy the drivers?
Would these be better than my current akg k371?
Hey this vs the 560s wich is better? For gaming.
this honestly. 560 so dull.
Would those be better for gaming then the ath r70x????
R70x are So Narrow. I'd hate to game in those
VZR Model One review when ?
How's the soundstage and imaging on them?
Soundstage is peak, Imaging not quite as good as say the rode or any of the narrower monitoring cans
Hey Zeos, love your stuff. You da man!
These headphones sound TERRIBLE. There's a hollowness and ringing that doesn't go away, especially noticeable during games. I enjoy your videos for entertainment value, but you lost me here.
I've seen Congo, many many years ago. But now i must rewatch it.
i like the idea of fart powered headphones. Depending on the diet, one could easy be self-sustained.
Imagin not talkiing about amp milliwatts, but the difference A salat, beans or barbecue season Klingon meatfarts have on your headphones performance.
Also, considering the average american diet, this would be a top seller over there with you guys. And thats not prejudice - that's purely observation.
btw: i finally figured out, WHY i like to watch zeos for entertainment:
Go and watch "Louis CK - putting on my socks"...could totally be something Z says. Not saying he is on the same level as one of Muricas great philosophers, but..you know...similar vibe.
Congo is a good movie.
Leave brain at the door and enjoy.
I got the tin t2s you reviewed and I think I'd like to have these too.
So thanks Z.
I don't leave my brain anywhere
More confortable than the takstar pro 82?
Those are too good. TOO GOOD
Somebody with a 3D printer could make a a few bucks printing different or custom sides. Let me know if you do. I will let use mine to get started. I should have these in a couple of weeks.
With the two mounting points set pretty far apart, you could print and mount ram’s horns, eagle’s wings, lightning bolts, tentacles, just whatever sticking out of your headphones. You could do. The classic Steve Martian “arrow through the head” gag on them.
Do they sound more fun than the rode? Like is there any point to owning both?
I'd be happy with the rode if they did not explode on you. These will give you more soundstage for sure if that's not what you're seeking I think you're pretty good.
@@ZReviews Well the Rode have been fine so far, but have never adjusted them because they strangely fit perfectly out of the box. And so, are people having issues from adjusting them, or are they likely to fail even without adjusting them?
I thought the thumbnail showed a pan with meat in the bottom (at first glance).
Do they isolate enough to wear in a gym that plays music too loud? Good for FPS games?
Yes but they are Heavy so working out will be sweaty AF.. Yes for FPS
Yes, they isolate pretty good. "Shooting earmuffs" like Z said though? No.
what about the SV021 versus this ?
I sold the SV021 and this is 2 revisions better. Because the B60 beat those and these beat the B60.
Brainwavz HM5 review all over again. Z has gone full circle !
Edit : I so miss those italian sofas on my head :( ! Probably most comfortable headphones I ever had.
I very recently reviewed the Monoprice revision and I got them for $17. Original brainwavz pads the Supersoft ones that they don't sell separately. Go find them
Hey Zeos c:
Could you please do a review of ISK HF2010's?

Besides Zeos is pretty cool guy and everytime I think hes nerdy he actually is a STATR in thesr type of forums , aint noone got more personality and funny quirky shit to say . Thanks Zeos I trust in your word blindly .
I appreciate you are blind following and reverence. I would like a statue erected and Bejeweled in my honor.
Oh my, I cant even imagine even though I've been hospitalized but only for days or weeks... I remember one time back in 2009, when I woke up on anesthesia after my back surgery. First thing, I said to my bro, who came to visit: go and get me one of those ipods. And I hated ipods! But in that year Ipod gets FM radio. So I didn't have any songs, so I listened radio on it. What a waste of money... I still have it.
Btw, I cannot even read when too weak, but music heals, I have found.
@@ZReviews how about a miniaturized statue of an uncut dick ... in gold ofc ;)
@@JasonMoon111 the reason why I got into hifi was because I was looking for ways to cope with chronic pain and multiple back surgeries. It's taken me at least a year and half to figure out what I like and what works. IEMs work much better when you're stuck in bed but I love open back soundstage. The Meze 99 Classics have a sound signature I like but they don't fit over my ears. I was hoping these would be the Chinese version of those.
