Some have their ears tipped which is good. they’ve been spayed or neutered and had their shots. Someone must be caring for them. They look like a colony.
What does it do if they have tipped ears? Is it good for them?
@@Proutprutproutprout It just makes it easier to tell if they've been fixed and vaccinated in case they end up in a trap. Sometimes city sets up traps to haul ferals to the vet.

TroubadorPoet yes from what I have seen from videos tourists have made an other resources, cats were introduced to keep mice numbers down but the natives didn’t want to spay or neuter them for lack of funds and/or superstition so the cats became overpopulated very quickly. Apparently cats are revered there and that’s why they are friendly, bc people pet them on a constant basis.
C H thankfully they are getting more on board with the spaying/neutering. It’s good to see that some of these have been fixed.
C H what is sad is that often a few seem to have colds and are sick.

@Tayyab M They are not really abandoned, just cared for by the local community rather than individual owners. Which actually makes more sense for cats.

@@Tayyab2462 probably since some people are horrible and treat them poorly/shoo them away. You can tell when theres a nice cat lady/person in the neighborhood when the cats will tolerate your presence instead of immediately running. When I was younger this lady down the street fed the cats often. One even let me get close to her kittens to feed them.
This is just sad. They all have such good temperaments and could so easily be rehomed. They just want love. The ginger one needs to see a vet as is clearly struggling to breathe. I would be taking them all home and getting them treatment. Strays need our help! No animal belongs on the street.
Rachel Dean. I so agree! That ginger cat definitely needs a vet. Something is wrong. You can tell a bunch of them have been in fights because the tip of their ears have been bitten off. It's really heartbreaking that they have to fend for themselves in the elements. It definitely looks like they're being fed... but two of the cats are trying to protect that sickly one. They need more than food.... 🙁
@@kudubwrong7897 No. The nicked ears does not signify that they've been in fights. Its called ear tipping. Its a universally accepted way to signify that a community cat has been spayed or neutered
I don't like cats particularly, but if they all had manners like these ones, I'd give one a home 👍
It is ear tipping which I think is great amongst feral colonys to stop kittens happening but if you look at all of the cats here only some have their ears done. I couldn't just stand by and let them suffer like this person is. Help them! The ginger one definitely has a respiratory illness, and will die without vet treatment.
