    This!!!! I was just saying I needed a new routine to clean my scalp while wearing braids. I am growing my hair out. This is so simple and your braids looked fresh afterwards! Love it!!

    You can definitely wash & rinse your scalp thoroughly without having the fear of saturating your braids….just put your braids up in sections and place the shower/sink head directly on the scalp, allowing the water to fall in the direction away from the braids…or pouring cups of water on the scalp. The towel scrubbing method can break off more strands from each braids.

    • @relatabletiktoksss1
      @relatabletiktoksss1 ปีที่แล้ว

      is that a good or bad thing about the breakage?

    • @24ryder4
      @24ryder4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @speedupsongs95… it’s definitely a bad thing if you’re using a towel and vigorously scrubbing your scalp with it in different directions, because it’s like your plucking out some strands at the same time

    I love the look of knotless braids but after 3 beautiful sets, I can't stand how quickly the starts looking old. I prefer the knot! Lol!!

    i use a baby wipe and apple cider vinegar rinse from cantu to refresh my scalp. I feel like baby wipes are much softer on my hair and less breakage and frizz .then once i am done i use a dry shampoo and a leave in

    My musty scalp with my month old braids started itching whilst watching this. lool. yup im cleaning it today.
    Cant find all these cleansing products easily where i live (unless i order online) so i use methylated spirit and cotton pads to clean, then leave in conditioner, then teatree/peppermint oil. My braid cleaning routine since secondary school....

    I must say I haven't been taking your channel recently but when this one popped up I was very pleasantly surprised because I am so ready for fall and to get my braids in I got some hard work ahead of me cuz I'm attempting to do myself for the first time so. Just in your intro I was engaged it was so fun just in that part to watch you talk about the the musk from the moisture of sweating and you are hilarious and this is something that I'm going to need cuz if I'm going to put them in I have to know how to keep them clean especially if I would like to keep them in for 2 months that is a big must and keeping them clean. I love your channel I love your attitude you know what you're talking about you may it entertaining and of course we want to watch someone whose personality is going to be bubbly and funny and that draws a person into watch you know what you're doing, now after all my comment after just seen your intro it's time to get back to the video and watch it in full and this is going to be exciting I know it so I think you ahead of time for all your knowledge that you share with me

    I need that mousse!!!! I've been trying to deal with my frizzies and fly aways but it's near impossible + I don't have a bonnet (yet, still being shipped and this is my first time getting braids). The last time I washed my braids out it caused a buncg of fly aways to loosen so I've been looking for a way to keep them down. It's not very common to have braids here so I've had to order most of my products online and it takes a bit to arrive, thankfully I have all the other products mentioned (other than the edges and mousse but I don't really care about styling my edges)

    I'm sorry but all I see is product use (build-up) and no real cleansing. All the sweat, dirt and build up is still in your hair. You're just masking the smells. I love braids but the only thing I don't like about them is the fact that I need to wash my hair at least once a week and because of that my styles usually last a month at most. I'd rather use running water and shampoo because that is actually washing out dirt and sweat and cleaning the hair.
