Expertly crafted tunes.......never easy or comfortable, always have something to challenge the norm. Quality, talent, beauty, craft. TOP band (from my home town ;-) )
@Goergebenson I think the production was very raw and this maybe has an influence on the listener making them feel it is a bit dated, but the lyrics and guitar lines still stand the test of time for me.
I don’t know everything about the Longpigs but after such a promising first album, I mean what a few great tracks like On And On, there were still moments of promise on Mobile Home.... but they seemed to self destruct and not be able to quite handle or mange taking the next step. Mobile Home itself almost summed their career up in that regard, promising opening but tailed off quickly....sad really 😰
i cant believe how much you wanna try.......seriously LONGPIGS are fucking cool and people who don't get that shit just don't fucking get it you get me
@captainofwhat Nah, the album was pretty good too. Not a patch on their début, though. Not broad enough to have given them wider success, but that's not a bad thing.
Longpigs, the most underrated band ever. with one of the greatest singers too.
word
What a great time the 90's was for music. A great single nearly every couple of days, something for everyone.
I mean, the fact the longpigs were not even MASSIVE shows you the standard at the time.

i found this song on an album in a car when i was working in a crap job. It honestly brightened up an otherwise terrible day! Thanks for uploading!
Crispin Hunt is a genius !
This song reminds me of my days at college, great times.
20 years later I just found out about this song and it’s so sexy lol
As a 2004 born kid, I'm upset such great songs are not there right now...
What a song! Very 90's, summer, feel-good :D
Remember it from when I was young, and it was also played several times on Teachers (channel 4 sitcom).
Longpigs takes me back to Glastonbury U.K. every time I play it.
Love, love, LOVE it!!!!

How were they not one of the biggest bands on the world?
Love this song!
Let's show some bass player love :)

I know that Longpigs were signed to U2's now defunct Mother label. Do i detect the backing vocals of a certain Mr Paul Heaton?
@Goergebenson Suede's album was called Suede not Nude. Nude was the record label. Just thought you'd like to know ;)
