Thanks Gary for all of your helpful, informative, friendly and comprehensive presentations of the '64 Deluxe Reverb. They are amongst the best demonstrations I have seen of this amp clearly illustrating its'' professional quality and wide range of sounds. Overall, your videos have provided a joyful, illuminating experience. I also wanted to highlight the wonderful, playing tones achieved - however, these reside solely in the fingers of the player (and are only amplified by the DLXR) ! Many thanks Ky
Have you done any videos comparing this too that Princeton? Would be interested to know whether there's a huge difference between a Princeton with a 12 inch speaker and a Deluxe Reverb
I been eyeing those and the princeton's but I ended up getting the GC one with the tweed and a G12-65 12" Celestion it rocks its almost 3 weeks old. Would like to the a Deluxe loud and see how it is, love some loud clean headroom. Oh on your Princeton did you take the baffle out to change the speaker? So is the 64 really much better over the non HW loud?
@@gair1944 It is just what you said in the video. I loved the sounds coming from the amp. I have a 65 reissue but not hand wired. Love the tones I get out of it but that 64 hand wired was some thing special.
@@stevep2430 Thanks for clarification. I didn't remember that I commented about it. I absolutely am in LOVE with this Handwired '64 Deluxe Reverb. It is otherworldly. Everything sounds good through it

I never had the chance to compare side by side. The deluxe will sound bigger and richer with a fuller clean headroom. That’s my best guess
