Wow great video ! I recently rewatched Cruella and got the Rainbow High B and W hair doll, nude on eBay to make my own version. I also saw the loose Jett Dawson red gown and got that too. I cut it up a bit, added a white fur coat and I’m glad to see that you may agree with my styling choices. It was so fun to see the box Jett came in, yes, Cruella inspired for sure all the way down to dressmakers form she was packaged with. I crimped her hair (it took a hot crimping iron so well !) and put in a bouffant style up do, similar to your no. 1 doll. I have never seen most of what you showed and I really appreciate it and wanted to share about my own creation because I picked up a few more ideas for her and some confidence for me when watching your video so thank you !

i really enjoyed this. It's funny. Back in the 90s, i really wanted to see doll versions of Disney villains. Cruella especially. Then they started releasing Cruella dolls. .. the dolls weren't as attractive as i had hoped. 😆 i don't know what i expected. i guess i saw Cruella differently. She wasn't exactly ugly in the movie. Certainly off-beat, but there was an elegance about her that i feel wasn't captured in the early dolls. i think the Folktale doll comes closest to what i'm talking about. i have never seen that doll until you''ve posted her, and she is gorgeous! THAT is how all Cruella DeVille dolls should be made. THAT is her! The Glenn Close dolls are positively striking. i ignored them back then because i didn't approve of a live action Dalmatians movie. i still haven't seen it. But those coats and the styling of those Glenn dolls are tempting. Number One is really nice. i agree with you about it not being Cruella. She looks like a cross between Maleficent and Cinderella's step-mother.

Unfortunately, both are hard to find, or at least hard to find at a not-crazy-high price. The first is the 2007 Tonner Cruella de Vil doll. She is a 1:4 scale doll, so about 16" tall or so. There were only 100 of her made, so she is near impossible to find nowadays. I got mine almost a decade ago, and I like her a lot. Her outfit is very accurate to the animated film (fur purse and cigarette included). Being a Tonner doll, her sculpt is very human, so she looks like a character performer as Cruella at Disneyland, but I love her. The second one is the Integrity Toys 2017 Fashion Fairytale Convention Fashionably Ruthless Tatyana Alexandrova gift set. She also has a realistic human head sculpt, and her hair is predominantly white with a bold streak of black, but she is without a doubt a Cruella doll. For my collection of Cruella dolls, I did not get the Glen Close dolls or the Hasbro dolls, but I do have the Disney Villains Cruella doll that was released in the Disney Parks back in the early 2000s (your #9 ranked doll), the 2012 Designer Villains Cruella de Vil doll, the 2016 Disney Designer Folktale Collection Cruella de Vil doll, and the 2021 live action Emma Stone Cruella doll, in addition to the Tonner and Integrity Cruella dolls. My favorite Cruella doll is probably the Tonner doll, but from the dolls made by the Disney Store, the 2012 Designer Cruella doll is my favorite. Oh, on the topic of the yellow hair on Cruella dolls, some types of white doll hair yellows over time, which stinks. My Tonner Cruella suffers from that, so her white hair now looks like platinum blonde.
10:09 I literally passed this doll up at Burlington for $20. Part of me wishes I just grabbed her so I could take her home and display her. I think she’s cool but definitely the box doesn’t make her look good at all

I only have a few Bratz, and I don't have any My Scene dolls. They were never really my style. I always preferred Barbie at the time. I do have some Bratz, but they're all the collector bratz collaboration dolls, and I mostly buy them because I like the designer, not necessarily the dolls themselves. 👀 Maybe I'll do a video on my Bratz dolls soon.
Have you ever seen the Tatyana Alexandrova Fashionably Ruthless Integrity doll? She's clearly inspired by Cruella Devil and has pretty cool outfits. But she's sooo expensive on the secondhand market :/

Those Madame Alexander's become unstrung over time. I have my mom's ones from the 90s and their limbs are loose one's arm came off. The only doll of hers that I really like is a Tiny Kitty Collier doll by Robert Tonner because she is more up my alley. I wonder have doll customizers taken the Glenn Close doll and done her as Norma Desmond or one of her character from Dangerous Liaisons that would be cool.
I love Cruella. I have 6 dolls, there will be a 7th doll soon :) My beloved, so whom you hate and fear. I'm crazy, I have two of them =D One in forever in a box, the same without a box. Her fur coat is the best fur coat ever. Very well made, and her fur bag is so chic. I also have Cruella Gwen Stone in black and white. Two Cruellas from Hasbro. Cruella in red by Emma Stone. And my new future seventh Cruella OOAK Monster High. I love them all. I dream of getting two designer ones in my collection, especially with Dalmatians. Thank you. You are cool))
